Ok, now when you access the main site with no referral url the site can't be accessed, yet if you use an actual active referral link it goes through with exploding iframes.....

It's a bad one but we've seen far too many that have been much much worse. It isn't the site Goldclick that is the culprit per se so much as the 469x60 banner "frame" on the site for lolco.net. That may have been put there by the PO or it could be an ad from a member or outside advertiser. lolco.net is something that bears watching for as it will start showing up elsewhere if it isn't the POs own frame.
You very likely could have caught something as some of those things loading have been documented as carrying malware.
I tried to run the ptp lolco through Jutaky's detector but it wouldn't give a result. I think this one is probably up there with the fxlayer at somewhere between 50 and 100 total iframes.
I am sure we've seen this ptp lolco before, but it has got a lot worse. I have little doubt someone else will sign up and we'll see it elsewhere if they offer a high CPM

I think this banner is new on the site from what I recall before. As lynn says payout has been raised recently very quietly by the webmaster. So I guess there is a money problem there.
