I was quite hurt to see this!! I think it was about buying her out at fillmyaccount so that members could remain and be paid!! Whats wrong with that it was an offer!! I hate seeing members done out of there money! and by the way i did post that like a month asgo when there were 0 members at fllmyaccount.

Oh and yes i have offered to buy other sites: gypsydad, centsablemail, cash4reading (all were going through hard times or were being sold)

She has tried to attack Ironsides444, jazmyni and many other people she just out there to destroy good webmasters for her own good

She should be banned from the forum

Evelyn chose to keep this issue private (just between the 2 of you) by PMing you.

I don't think that there is anything wrong in making a valid offer.... not at all, and I know several othr webmasters that has either sold their sites, for whatever reasons, or that offered to either buy or partner with others.... so I don't think that u done anything wrong. I also have to say that if I were you, and from what I have read, not having any true dealings with Evelyn Turner myself, BTW, it shouldn't really hurt your feelings as, she is from what I have actually seen is proberly the one that is hurting.... For it isn't u that actually done anything wrong. I don't know the reasons for what was said, however, I have had offers also, as well as most out there, it is neither a bad thing nor a disgrace for someone to offer to partner/buy outright a site.... she should feel somewhat honored that someone actually thought enough of her sites to want to revive it/them.
I know of atleast 1 that bought a site with a terrible rep, and has made it a great site, and almost dismissing the previous owners horrible treatment of its some 3000 members.... so, in my opinion, based solely on what all I have seen and read, she shouldn't have stated herself like this, it wasn't polite nor anyway to conduct herself professionally... being nice about even the most unpleasant of situations doesn't cost much nor hurt anything... kill'em with kindness.... if u know what I mean... and believe me anger will ALWAYS defeat even the strongest of ppl.... soi will hatred... so let her be as mean and hateful as she wishes, because the only one that will be remembered for anything is the one that is/has been the nice and professional acting and the more adult acting of the bunch/situation! :>)

I posted it here because i have done nothing wrong!!! And i feel everyone should no how she treats people she kicks up fuss about other webbies why should we kick up a fuss against her!!!

I agree with ekelly. When I pm someone, I don't want the whole world seeing it. The whole point of a pm is that it is private. I would hate to think that if I pmed someone, they would use it against me. I don't think that's right. I would never do it, and I wouldn't want someone doing it to me.

I was very new to this world and i didnt even know there was a getpaidforum or gptboycott so it was hard all i got was hundreds of mails and i replied to nearly all of them politely!!!!

I now have to go out and will be back in around 6-7 hours and will see how we can resolve this

Look Chris, when TKO had problems last year, all I got was slamming. I don't blame anyone for it. People had a right to. But it was hurting when people started calling me names (shipping clerk, sales clerk, "if you don't like the job of sales clerk, get another job" etc etc). I have been there, so I know how it feels like to get slammed repeatedly. So why don't you give it a rest?

Well then......stay out of it.
If you don't want anything more to do with her, then quit posting about her.

Just my 2 cents tho, seriously, I agree with most of all that has been said, yes its not actually fair to publish to the public private PM's however, its not wrong in how Chris feels about how it was said, etc... however, I also agree that once someone says their 4 cents then get over it and go on to other things... heck we have all been slammed and also stood up for... but to continue to be upset about a subject can only do one thing.... harm... :>)

The best way is quietly, privately, and with decorum and politeness. One needn't lower oneself to another's level when one is challenged in an impolite way.

Give it a rest.....Chris, you your self have been slammed, and think about how YOU felt, this has nothing to do with us, and anything else to do with Evelyn has nothing to do with YOU!

You still have people slamming you, so go deal with those, before you come in here, jumping on a band wagon, slamming someone else.

Do NOT depair Chris35...most of us are behind you 100 per cent!!! As you say...ALL you did was make a legitimate offer and got alot of s... from someone I think is trying to take mebers for as much as she can. WE will ALL be watching her and anyone who becomes a member of her site(s) will end up with nothing for their time. NOW everyone has been warned.

I am neutral here BUT here's my thoughts:

The subject of Fill My Account WAS dying down until Mrs. Turner came on here bashing Ironside, who we all know is an honest webmaster. I think the continuance of bashing is coming from the other end (Evelyn).

BUT...

I don't think people should feel the need to post here that they are quitting, what she did to them, etc. when a majority of the people here already know/have experienced these kind of actions.

Furthermore, I think that this thread and all of the previous threads that include bashing good, honest programs should stop

I think that it is a good idea to add an ET-folder. If you search for "Evelyn Turner" in the forum, you will get 3 pages of threads :-).
And Chris, I know how you feel. ET has sent me a blunt email too. But I replied to her that my feelings were hurt and after that she apologised to me. Please don't let things escalate ;-).

No, but I just realized that I liked the older small quote boxes more than the bigger versions we have now.....these new ones are more confusing - at least to me.

I see every post since kittysdoc's in a quote box.
