You know, I admit I like this survey site and have always been paid timely. However I find it extremely frustrating and shady that a lot of their surveys kick you out after 10 minutes with the 'sorry you dont qualify' message. Every other survey site I'm a member of tells me after 5 or 6 questions if I qualify.

Anyone else have this problem?

I agree it is very frustrating. I have stopped even trying to do them anymore. I would say 8 out of 10 would tell me I dont qualify. Also several times I completed a survey and didnt get credit.

With lightspeed, the key for me was the take the survey before it got emailed to me. By checking the site you could get more surveys and qualify for more of them too. I generally did not waste my time with the 50-75 point surveys anyway, I only wanted to to the 500-1000 point ones that usually dealt with commercials for beer companies.

This is a big turn off for me too. I don't understand why sites have a profile that lists our demographics only to send out surveys that we don't qualify for in the 1st place. It's even worse when you spend a good 5-10 minutes working on it only to find your not qualified to take the darned survey.

I had 4 surveys in my account from Lightspeed and I qualified for them all. Once in a blue moon I do run into this problem though with them. It drives me crazy.

The problem with Lightspeed is that the rewards are small for the length of the surveys. 150 points (about $1.30 if you cash your points in via paypal) for a 30 minute survey is bad, most other sites would offer $3 or $5 for a 30 minute survey.

AGREED! My profile is clearly listed on the survey sites yet once in a while I get pointless surveys about baby items when according to my profile, I don't HAVE any children!

And yes, spending 5-10 minutes doing a survey only to find out I don't qualify is pretty shady. I did one the other day where I answered the qualifying questions, then they had me watch a video. After giving my opinions, I was told that I didn't qualify for the survey and got nothing for it!

I agree with this too. Really the only thing keeping me around is the fact that they pay within 2 days, a lot of sites I have to wait 4-6 weeks to get my check in the mail

Most of the survey sites I am a member of don't pay a rate of $6-$10 an hour; usually it's less, around $2-$5.

I have been a member for years. I have posted many positive posts in the past. i will start by saying I have made about $300 with them as well as been given many items to try out. the last survey I had was in January. I was given an air freshener to try. You were to call when you needed a refill. Well 23 days later I call only to find the survey had closed out. I wrote Lightspeed asking what was up. They would not even tell me where to return product (they were to send a shipping label when you called) Since then I have not had one survey. My opinion has totally changed. Someone had told me to close my account and reopen another one. That is when I noticed there is no way to join. The link to join is not where it says it is. So I guess I give up, very disapointed. But life goes on. az.gif

I complete surveys for a lot of different companies including Lightspeed and I have not noticed that they are worse than others when it comes to being disqualified from surveys.
