IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR ALL MEMEBERS!!!

I will be closing down Gardenia Clicks effective November 1, 2008. It is with a heavy heart that I do this and have thought about it for several months. For many reason's that I will not go into I have decided to close the site down. This was a very hard decision for me to make but I had to make it.

On August 1,2008, all cash upgrades will be removed. Members who have them will be refunded on a prorated basis for time left on the upgrade.

Current affiliate pages will be left to expire. On November 1st, 2008, any members having pages that have not expired will receive a prorated refund for time left minus earnings from the page.

I will keep paying everybody for their clicking efforts all the time, so if you want randoms please check mark that interest as some of you don't have it check marked so I don't pay those people until they reach the minimum payout. I have changed the minimum payout for everybody to 50 cents now.

I will leave the joining option open until 1 week before site closure so that all the advertising that is still on the site will be used up some.

On November 1st or 2nd, 2008 all members will be paid if they have at least 1 cent in their account, then the database will be wiped clean of EVERYTHING.

This decision will in no way affect Soaring Eagle PTR in the least bit. I will still be there to help Lissa when she needs me. I will still be making banners for those people that want them. I will still be there to help other PO's as much as I can if they need me.

I will miss doing this but then I won't he he.

l'm not a member of either of your programs, but l have something l want to say:



lt is posts like this which renew my faith in people in PTR in general, and program owners in particular.

Over the years l have been 'scammed' left right and centre for sums between a few cents and over a hundred dollars, and l'm sure many of the 'PTR oldies' have experienced the same thing.

Sites simply disappear without warning, taking not only your cash, but your advertising dollars with them - and not necessarily because the PO set out to steal. l would think because the program owner is too embarrassed or scared to tell members what is going to happen.

l take my hat off to those who have the decency to be upfront with their membership and the morals to pay them their last earned cent, whether or not it reaches the minimum cashout for that site, rather than hide behind their 'terms' and keep membership money (which is my book has never been anything else than pure theft!).

l hope that this is an example which will be followed by all program owners who, for one reason or another, deem it necessary to close their program. Your members are not inconsequential little nobodies without rights and feelings, and it is good to see at least one webmistress prove that point to perfection.

Thank you for those words nice words. I too wish others would just be up front for whatever reason. Sorry everybody I sent your money on shoes or whatever we are gonna have to close the sites. My reasons are not for that but you get what I mean. There is no way I will change anybody else's way of doing things, it would be nice but it just won't happen. One thing I will say is that the site just can't compete with all these sites out here that offer 25000 visits to a link for 25 cent or even $1.00. I just can't compete with that, I refuse to make people waste their time clicking for .0001 cents that is just crazy, it is greedy of the WM to do that. I tried to raise the bar a little but it really did not matter nobody could see that or they did not care.

Ok sorry about that off my soap box now. There are mare reasons than just that one that I just won't get into.
