What do you think of McAfee? It's the one I currently use. And since I think most of you use Avast of AVG, which one is better if you compare them?

You can add McAfee to the list I mention in this post. Just another piece of bloatware that doesn't stop everything that it's supposed to.

Like most of the others I talk about, there was a time when they did work and work well. I was a huge advocate of Norton software for the longest time, but since Symantec took it over, it slowly has gotten worse and worse and bigger and bigger. I'm certain Peter Norton had know idea this was going to happen when he sold off his code.

McAfee is not a good Anti-Virus program get NOD32 or KAV.

I'm a retired computer consultant and I have tried all the ones mentioned here. The first thing I do when setting up a new machine is rip out McAfee or Norton and install Avast. I have personally used it for years and installed it for dozens of clients. It runs auto pilot and works. It's free for home users.
