I redeemed at Aquamails for:
<li>Targeted Tier 1/2 - 1/50 cent PTC 2000 clicks - $0.85
The ad is for the upgraded link at Vale, here are my stats so far:
05/17:
Tier Total Hits Valid Hits Valid % Earnings
Tier 1 28 22 78.57% 22 credit(s)
Tier 2 5 5 100.00% 3.5 credit(s)
Total: 33 27 81.82% 25.5 credit(s)

05/18:
Tier Total Hits Valid Hits Valid % Earnings
Tier 1 21 19 90.48% 19 credit(s)
Tier 2 6 6 100.00% 4.2 credit(s)
Total: 27 25 92.59% 23.2 credit(s)

05/19:
Tier Total Hits Valid Hits Valid % Earnings
Credits Default 1 1 100.00% 0.02 credit(s)
Tier 1 25 20 80.00% 20 credit(s)
Tier 2 7 7 100.00% 4.9 credit(s)
Total: 33 28 84.85% 24.92 credit(s)

Credits used at Aquamails so far: 90 out of 2000
Hits received at Vale so far: 93
Credits earned at Vale so far: 73.62, which at $1 CPM translates to $0.07362

The way it's going so far, looks like the ad will earn me about twice the money I paid for it aa.gif Please note that I do promote this link at quite a few other places, so I think the % of valids is really good.

***and now for something completely different***

I also upgraded at Aquamails, mostly because of referrals but the upgrade comes also with a one-time 0.25c ad to all members. Three days later, I am still getting hits from that ad, and my jaw just kept dropping lower and lower when the hits were coming in.

If you are thinking of upgrading at Aquamails anyway (like I was), know that you will get a killer of an ad with that ab.gif

Advertising Fusion upgraded (I promote this link just about anywhere, so the % of valids is really wonderful, considering this)

I have'nt tried advertising my PTP at aqua, but then again I've only got a couple of PTP links and I advertise them at my site. I just wanted to let you know Triskell I clicked a few of your links aa.gif

yes I purchased 6 ptp links to 5000 at aqua not long ago and the results were amazing I love this site for advertising

It's not that profitable. When I calculate, if you advertise at for example 0.65 CPM, (no-minimum), in the end of clicks you've got -0.12 cents. Or easy say, YOU LOSSE MONEY. So only option is to advertise on PTP sites who have 0.80 and more CPM to be in profit...For example, if you promote at cashdesks 0.99 CPM, you have in 3 month or more just $1.06. I think that is too low for this time isn't ??? aa.gif

Yes of course it is important to calculate what the payment for 1000 credits will be in a site.... you always have to calculate real costs and real earnings... only then you can say if something is profitable... Valeptr upgraded was paying $1 for 1000 credits by the time Triskell posted this...

BTW if you calculate in % .... with investing 85 cents you can earn easily 106 cents in three months...now that is a yearly profit of 4 times 21 cents... is 84 cents... wow almost 100% profit in a year... I would love to have such a saving account! As that is what buying advertising is all about.... investing a bit and just receive the hits without working too hard... then earn the profits... but of course you have to buy more advertising than just one ad... and take care that you don't have too many ads on programs with the same memberships...

For no-minimum you have to search for cheaper ads...

The stats on these nice threads will only help you to look for what PTP sites you might like to use those offers...

I'm not sure how you calculated that. bn.gif

I didn't keep the stats from the days after the ones posted, but they were similar, so let me calculate it based on these days only.

Clicks used: 90
Credits earned: 73.62

At this rate, for 2000 clicks I would have about 1636 credits. For No-Minimum, this translates to over $1.06. So even with a site that has only $0.65 CPM, that's a 21 cent profit ($1.06 minus the 85 cents I paid for the ad) for 2000 clicks, or - if you prefer to calculate it for 1000 clicks - about $0.105 CPM profit.

Of course, the profit would be larger with a higher paying ptp.

In my opinion the amount of time invested verses the return on promoting ptp links is just sad by any currency standards. All that writing you just posted talking about twelve cent. I get paid probably three to five dollars average for writing that much on such a specialized topic. Ptp is a waste of time and productive potential. The only way you are goijng to make money in this field is to start your own site, and you will need at least 2k reserve to keep it afloat until you see profits.

I was thinking of getting into Ptp, maybe I will do good and maybe I don't. But the chances are it will work, I think.

1. I meant 21 cents, not .21 cent's (whatever that is)

2. I don't recall mentioning jumping for joy. What I recall is someone telling me that they calculated I lost money on the ad and myself questioning that calculation.

3. Earning 21 cents was the minimum option, for a site with only $0.65 CPM. The site that I advertised had a much higher CPM than that, so consequently the profit would be higher.

4. Even in the minimum scenario, earning 21 cents profit out of 85 cents invested may be little to you. Earning about 1/4 profit off every ad I run is quite a lot to me.

PTP is very nice, you spend an hour on one day setting everything up, pay some money, then watch money trickle in slowly for doing absolutely nothing... i don't know how you could consider that a waste of time...unless you only do traffic exchanges... and most people don't have 2k just laying around...i wish i did ah.gif

I do not find advertise button at www.aquamails.com. aa.gif
nitemares
me too i even tried signing up to see if it will appear lol well it didn't so i opted out again ah.gif

Hmmm, that's weird... I remember that some time a month or two ago I didn't see it there (that spot was just empty) and then it was back, so my guess is that the advertising page was taken down for a while (either because it was being updated or because there were too many ads or for some other reason).

However, I just checked now and I do see it now, right between "signup" and "members". Maybe the advertising page was taken down while you checked but now is back up? Does that button still not show to you?

Ahhh, and I see that now it says:

* Targeted Tier 1/2 - 1/50 cent PTC 5000 clicks - $2.00

I don't think the ad to 1000 was there the last time I checked (though I may be wrong), so maybe indeed some changes were being made? aa.gif
