Can anyone tell me how to free up memory.

If you don't use it already, you could try Ccleaner, you can find it here;

I run mine everyday and it clears anything upto 60MB and it also has a registry fix tool as well.

Are you wanting to free up harddrive space, or actual memory usage? If it's harddrive space, then do as Longshanks suggested. If it's actually memory usage, then MemTurbo is a right software.
