HI everyone, I started a online business a few weeks ago and I'm very happy with it I already got 5 checks, and the pay is very good but the problem is that I want to drive big traffic to my site but I'm on a very small budget at this time till I get going. I was told there are free ways of promoting my business and I can get lots of traffic but they never told me how to do this. If someone can give some helpful advise I would love that. I know allot of people in forums have lots of experience in marketing online for free or even at a low price for those of us with a tight budget. I was also told I could buy leads but I want my own leads to drive my business.

You could always try using manual traffic exchanges. That will put your site in front of more people and also, although not technically free, you could also buy bulk rotator views. The first step is getting some recognition to your site and once thats done then you can start advertising more aggressively.

Great question! The best way to generate free traffic is the most obvious; google. For anyone starting a site, learning the tricks of search engine optimization can be huge and jump start any business and online earnings. There are countless ways to promote your site, generate traffic and build page rank and search engine traffic naturally... Things like submitting to free directorys, building links, using proper linking text, pinging to the right sites if you have a blog or starting a search engine friendly blog to capture traffic to direct to yout site. It's all about traffic and with Google, the right placement can deliver a lot of business with the right background knowledge of placing high in the rankings. Best of luck to you!

Definitely use the traffic exchanges - and good luck on your business. Sounds like you're doing well from the start!

Or possibly join some PTRs and redeem for ads.

I have joined a few paid-to-read-email sites that offer some free ads simply for joining. They also offer monthly repeating ads.

The traffic exchanges are good--some very nice ones. Traffic Swarm is a great established one, but there are lots of others. edited Exchanges can be tedious to work, but they do reward you with some quality traffic of money-hungry entrepreneurs if you put the right offer in front of them with an effective splash page. (If you see a lot of other exchange members promoting your own program, just move on to another exchange that you find appealing and effective.)
