So for the month of June we had a Total of 15 Raffles close - lets see if we can get more closed in July I am going to keep the raffles stocked with cash points books cd's and dvd's with a Max of 30 raffles open at one time - and hopefully keep it maxed out at all times - some of them are cash and some are points - as soon as my site debt is paid off the physical items will go back to being all points - while the cash will always be cash - and the points will switch off between cash and points. - if we keep getting thru the cash raffles like we have been I should be all paid up soon - and then I can start putting everything towards my medical bills instead of part of it

Effective immediately, Karen is prohibited from doing any site work on weekends not because she did anything wrong but because her health comes first and she cannot regain her strength if she is working every day. All Raffles won on weekends will have to wait until Monday at the earliest to get the funds credited to your account. We already know that the majority of our members are OK with this and majority rules around here, always has.

Any raffle queries should be posted in this thread and will be answered as time permits.

actually I won twice - I now OFFICIALLY have weekends off - so I WILL NOT be checking the raffles anymore on the weekends. not that its a lot of work but I have been trying to get the raffles and prizes posted as soon as possible - and this weekend - someone won twice and the first one I must have posted alomost right after it finished - but the second one I wasn't feeling very well so I had decided to let it wait a few hours til I felt better - well -this person emailed Ron wanting to know why she didn't have her prize yet - when Ron has NOTHING I repeat NOTHING to do with the raffles - so Ron and I discussed it and decided that on weekends I will not even go near the admin stuff or the raffles

if that upsets anyone I do apologize - but I HAVE to put my health first - and I know I still have to re-ener the 2 raffles that were won but that will not hapen till the end of this week maybe even next week as I am having a really rough time of it right now and have a very long hard day at the hospital tomorrow - and if the 1/2 hour appts make me sick for 2 weeks - I don't even want to know what 1 2-hr appt and 1 1hr appt are going to do to me - esp. since one is supposedly to get shots in the gut right on the nerves that are causing all the problem - if he goes thru with that - I will be totally offline for who knows how long - so the raffles will fall behind - I am sorry but they will - but I want to know just how many you guys can close out while I am sick - cause coming back to the site and seeing lots of raffles closed out is the one thing gauranteed to make me feel better - so please if you can get as many of the 28 raffles that are there closed out.

ok - you will all be happy to know that all the new raffles are up and running - I had a slightly better day today - but not by much - I found out my vitamen D count is very low - so I have to work on that - but I was told to wait til I was feeling a lot better before I start - lol

Vitamin D is easy. Get out into the sunshine if you can manage a little while outside it will do you the world of good.

would love to - but 2 things - 1 I am certified allergic to almost everything that can be found outdoors - lol and 2 - that would involve my dad carrying me downstairs - dragging out the wheelchair and going for a long walk -and then having to listen to him ###### about having to carry me back upstairs when the walk wasn't my idea in the first place it was his - and neither was the chair - the back deck swing would have done just fine with a book and a drink - but no - that can't happen as he has to be with me at almost all times in case I fall ( oh yeah - I fell this week a bad one too - my left hand and wrist were so swollen I couldn't move them for 2 days - now they are just brusied - but Daddy is in "Super-Daddy" mode and won't let me take 2 steps in case I fall again in case the next one is the one where something breaks - lol) getiing back to my little rant now - lol - he can't set me outside for a bit because then he would want to do yardwork which he can't do with me outside - so its either a walk or nothing at all - and he doesn't want to go for walks til I stop throwing up every 15 minutes - so that option is out - at least til I get past this - which I really wish I could cause its been over 3 weeks and is driving me insane and I am so friggen tired it isn't funny.

but I like your thinking - and Dad and I were going for walks twice a week before I got this sick again

we have plenty of windows - but the way our house is situated - the only windows that get sun that actually come in them - not just the light - are blocked by the neighbors houses which are at most 4 ft away from each other here in this area. - and my dr also told me that o matter how much sun I get it won't be enough to make up for the shortage of vitamen d in my system - the avg person dowsn't need any supplements at all for vitamen d - but it is added to everything with calcium as it is needed to help your body absorb calcium - so most people have too much vitamen D if anything - but I am about 1500 iu short every day so I need to take 1500 IU everyday - but not til I am better ( stop throwing everything up) and then we will see where things stand when I see the specialist in Nov. until then we just wait and see and try not to fall too much - lol

Wow, I checked back on my list ( yes sad me keeps a list so I now don't over load each raffle). The dollar one I had bought just 3 tickets out of the 11 on sale. Shows you do not need to buy loads to win a prize. But I did spend my points on ones I had lbought lots of tickets for in the past instead of spreading them around.

Will spend my winnings on more tickets so round it goes.

I got up to 10 cents in earnings and contest PTC winnings so bought all 11 tickets to win another dollar. I know Karen only gets 10 cents but I thought I would help boost the total of raffles ended this month. But I fear we will not make it 20.

Remember folks even though Karen may get her drugs paid she needs that very expensive bone machine. So please support the raffles and if you need more points why not pay a tad more and buy hers. It helps the bank balance as well as cheers her up to know people care.
