Are there going to be any more cash raffles? I normally only buy cash and points raffles for books and DVD's so not for me but I think they might attract some people.

of course they will be - and since there will be no more site support raffles - they are ALL now Karen support raffles - I will try to get as many up as possible - and you can actually support all the raffles as they will all be helping me now - lol

I will be getting more up once I am stabilized on this new drug - or at least when it starts to take the pain away



PS the new raffles I will be putting up will be Winner pays shipping -

to give an example of cost - to ship a dvd to the states it is $4 a small book is around $2-3 dollars and a very heavy book or a group of books will be around $11

If a person wants to enter but can't afford the shipping they can still enter - they just need to contact me to make arrangements for the shipping - maybe a trade off of the equivalent value in points - but I am fair so I will try to get everyone the prize they bid on - but I really do need the help that members paying for their own shipping would bring

I got paid in full by Misty and Sams Cash so money I was not expecting yet arrived so more to spend on my friends raffle. And it was good to see I did not win everything. It is always good when someone else wins as it encourages more to buy raffles.

I love it when anyone wins - and I agree with you that I am glad it is not always you - as others might give up if they see it is always you - but your contributions do help them to win as well

and I really thank every one who participates as it helps me emotionally as well to see all the different people who are buying tickets to help me and to show they care

I'd buy somne too if all the tickets weren't only sold for cash. I'm still better than $233 in the hole from buying points and won't get any cash to buy raffles with for another 7841 days, according to ThePaidHelp

Wonder if you are also watching BBC Americas Monty Python marathon.

one of my favorite shows actually - but no I wasn't watching it as its not playing here - and I been to sick to watch anything - except dvds that I can pause when I need to - which is a lot lately - lol

I am currently reading Michael Palin's Diaries - 1969 - 1979 The Python Years. I just adore the Monty Python. And I was even lucky enough recently to go to the Haleworth Cut Art Festival showing of "East of Ipswich" written by and starring Michael which was a BBC play based on his first meeting with his future wife at nearby Southwold. And the best bit was the Michael Palin interview and then a question and answer session. Yes I have seen the great man in the flesh.

I use to watch Monty Python, but it's not on much anymore, at least I can't find it. Watch BBC quit often!

Just so everyone knows - I am deleting the closed raffles at the end of every month so that it is easier for me to track the new winners - and since I am now posting them here - I don't see the point in having the list in 2 places - but I am keeping the current month winners there so we can see how many raffles we get thru in a months time - last month I do believe it was over 20 - so lets see if we can beat that this month - we are off to a good start with having 6 raffles completed already
