In the last 12 hours or less I have received emails asking me to confirm my signups to Paid Email From Great White North and Ozloop. I did not sign up for either of these programs, nor did I request to do so. I don't know who is trying to sign me up, but I am now becoming concerned.

There are a few people out there who think it is fun to try to get you signed up under them.
Forward the entire "confirmation email" you get to the webmaster of that program. (don't click the link in the email).
They are aware that this is going on and they are banning those people from their programs.
Just send it to them and they will help you.
This is not the webmasters fault.

Yep, I also got one such verification email today for The Great White North.

Just deleted it Whoever is doing this and reading this thread, I don't think you'll be very successful in recruiting people under you this way. Most people do remember what they signed up for And they might just forward the verification email to the webmaster of the program like Ekelly suggested which will get you deleted from the program for sure

I did just want ekelly suggested and forwarded the email.

I'm REALLY MAD now. I just got that email for OZLOOP and its the same guy that tried to sign me up for the Great-White-North program.

Referral ID = evg2003

They have been banned from Great-White North already.

sounds like I'm in good company. I won't worry about them. I'll just forward to webmasters. I'm sure the webmaster would rather have members who choose to sign up for their programs.

evg2003 is who tried the ozloop trick. I already deleted the great white north email thinking it was just a glitch, so I don't know who did that one.

Hi I am sorry for your trouble
I have checked and have found this user "evg2003 " and I have deleted him from the system I have also shut down the signup process until I can sort it.

I am aware that Randy is looking into the incidents at GWN.

The person in question is being dealt with

I will ad........both these incidents are from the same Person......both webmasters have delted this guy and banned his IP from access site and have forwarded all the info on to thier host for further action against this guy

So he's for sure deleted from PEFTGWN? Because I got that e.mail from that e-watever-2003 creep too...no point in forwarding it to Randy now, right? I should just delete it?

Well at least someone tried to enroll you into a program with a good webmaster...

Heh...good point...I coulda gotten a sign-up e.mail from RichMails or something
