At the moment, I cannot get Aquamails to load, nor any other site that is hosted by Lucidity. I've been told this means that there is a "server side ban" on my IP, whatever this means.

My username at Aquamails is Triskell and my IP is dynamic but at the moment it's 66.167.137.196. Could you please contact Lucidity and have the ban removed?

Thank you!

Not sure why its "another Lucidity problem" but I'm the owner of Lucidity. We have over 75 servers so if you can't reach any site hosted by Lucidity, there's a much larger issue at hand. If you only can't reach Aquamails, then I may be able to assist you. Can you please contact me so I can check on this further?

Thanks,
iceman919
Thanks Cynthia for helping out here before i even get a chance to read about this aa.gif

If it helps, the last login IP was 68.165.77.191

I am not away until tomorrow night, but i don't think that i can do anything about such things anyways, when Cynthia takes care about this i am sure it is sorted soon aa.gif

Hello, and thank you all for reacting so fast.

Cynthia, I've just sent you a PM.

Iceman, I'm sorry I used your support forum for this. It was the only support forum, out of those for sites I can't access and am a member of, that is hosted here at GPF.

The other sites that don't open for me include for example Payingcash, Deep-C Links, Cash Delight (or their forum, of course), to name but a few. I was not even sure what the common denominator was, and why these sites suddenly don't work for me, while others (for example X-Ray Cash) work fine. A friend pointed out to me that all the sites I can't access have one thing in common: they're hosted by Lucidity, and that this means a server side ban on my IP and that I need to contact PO's of these sites to ask Lucidity to get the ban lifted. So this was my desperate attempt to do so.

I'm sorry to have bothered you right before your trip. If I remember correctly from the admin message, you're travelling for your Mom's 70th birthday, please wish her a Happy Birthday from me aa.gif .

Edited to add: In the "another Lucidity problem" title, the "another" referred simply to the fact there is already a topic about Lucidity right below mine. It was not supposed to imply that there are lots of problems with lucidity (I'd never had one before) and I'm sorry, Cynthia, if I didn't phrase it well enough to make that clear.

No problem. aa.gif I just hadn't heard of any other problems, so "another" didn't make sense to me.

I've sent you a private message. Hopefully we can get this sorted out quickly for you.

Everything seems to be working fine now aa.gif The messages from all these sites started coming again some time when I was at work, and when I came back home, I could access them again.

Big, big thanks to everyone for your help aa.gif
