Has anyone had any luck with peel-back ads on their websites? (The ones that peel-back when you mouse over them, like a book page.) I was considering putting one on my webpage (
www.MomsWallet.com), but am not sure if it will just annoy readers?
Thanks for your feedback!

Hi you already have banners in the middle of the page so I don't think any mouseover ads would be a good idea
You could consider adding a side bar beneath the navigation bar. You could try something like adsense.
Finally, Id be happy to exchange links with my site, please let me know

Peel-back ads drive me NUTS, but it all depends on your visitors I guess. I have not used them on any of my sites and doubt I ever will, but I have mostly webmaster and technology related sites.

They really are not that annoying. I rather come across one of those than a pop up or pop under. Those are the ones I truely hate and most of them have a spy ware attached to them.

Some of the peel back ads seem to slow sites down. I do not like them or pop ups

Which site provides peel-away ads and how much are the payrates?

Peel Away ads are offered by many sites and AdToll is one of them. I am not sure about the rates. But, the ads are not so good and I don't suggest to use Peel Away ads unless AdSense starts it.

peel ads are really annoying and tbh i think unless you have a REALLY successful site it will just drive away users. i know i personally think twice about re-visiting sites with annoying ads that pop up everywhere!

Tell you what. I hate popups, but would rather have 2 popups come from a site than a peel back ad. I usually leave a site if it has a peelback ad.
