I am compiling a security article on GPT and want to know if a PO can see the password you use on their site?

At the sites where I have helped the admin I could see the passwords, it is always best to use a different password for every program ....

Cannot see the passwords on lococlix.
I am amazed that some leave their passwords on the welcome urls when I approve their paid sign ups.

So it depends on the script used.... As most things in this area ... there is not a simple yes or no ... but as usual it depends... ai.gif

When peeps put their passwords in the welcome urls they might be more interested in the paying for signing up than in the site they signed up for LOL

In CC scripts it shows encrypted passwords. So I would have to agree that everyone should use a different pw at each site. You never know when an owner or admin helper knows how to decrypt something.

Yup but keeping different passwords at different sites would be almost impossible to memorize. Do you use 3rd party apps like roboform? or just keep them in an excel file or notepad?

I have them all on notepad. Cuz there is no way what so ever that I can remember that many passwords, lol.
