I've moved my site to a new domain and now I can't download automatic updates!

When I go to use the automatic update feature within CashCrusader to get the latest version of the script I get this error message:

Failed to find tar in PATH trying /bin/
Failed to find tar in /bin/ trying /usr/bin/
Failed to find tar in /usr/bin/ trying /usr/local/bin/
Update failed. Please make sure that you have access to tar on this server

What on earth could be wrong and what is tar? I've spoken to my host but he has no idea what the problem is and hasn't been able to help.

Another problem i've got which is more serious is when I go to deduct a payment from a person's account it just says $0.00 for the transaction! I can't take any out of their account!

Please help!

Make sure all your permissions are setup correctly for all folders and files through the panel. (644, 777, ect).

Thanks, already tried setting each folder and file mentioned to 777 (full permissions) but no joy. bj.gif

Not sure which files should be set to which specific permissions but I know this is crucial to the script running correctly.

sounds like some of your files might not have made the move ah.gif

I think you just set to 777 the folders listed in the error message & the files within them. That's what I have done before & have never had any problems. Anyway, I'm gonna try installing the update using FTP and see if that at least fixes the other problem that I am having. aa.gif

Cant' even download the "update" file which is actually the whole script! Tried several times and the download keeps ending before even half of it has had a chance to download so someone is having to send me the file over MSN! ah.gif
