I have been trying to get onto their site for about a week now. They are sending emails & I click on the link but it goes no where. I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem? I have cleaned my cache & restarted my computer. I do not have any other problems with any other site except this one. The link I am try to connect to is:

It went right to the site for me. You mentioned cleaning out your cache but have you cleaned out your cookies too?

I have also cleaned the cookies. In fact, I just cleaned out the cookies, cache, etc again. Closed the windows, restarted computer, then open FireFox, tried the site....no go. Closed FireFox, opened IE, tried the site....no go. No matter what I do, it will not go to that site. I do not understand it.

I never had problems connecting to Trinkets, maybe you have a protection program running (like spybot SD resident) that is blacklisting the site for some reason ?

I never thought about Spybot SD. I do have that but I don't know how to stop it. The only thing I can do is uninstall it & see if that helps.

I have Windows Vista. I didn't start having problems ntil about a week ago. I have uninstalled the Spybot completely & restarted my computer. I have disabled all firewall, etc. I just don't get it. I know when I open the emails I am getting, no images come up either. Like I stated before, I have no problem with any other site but this one. I guess if I can't figure it out, I will just have to give it up.
I also tried ThePaidHelp to see if it can detect the site, it came up with: "A connection with the server could not be established." So I have no idea what the problem is either since ThePaidHelp can't even go to that site either.

I have tried everything & I can not get into their site. I am still getting emails daily from them but when I click on the link (paid link) it will not go in. It doesn't matter if I use FireFox or IE. I don't get it.

Hi Force, I just submitted a support ticket at the site for you. Maybe the owner might be able to help.

Thanks. I contacted the WM a few days after I started having problems & she told me that there was nothing wrong with their site & it must be something I have done or not doing correctly.

Ohh sorry, I didnt realize. I wondered if your IP had been blocked by them. Sometimes that has happened to me.

Do you ever use the host.exe file found in your windows folder? Are you using any other types of protection, ie. firewalls/anti-virus?

I was just informed that its actually a server issue (if hosted with Tim: hostigation.com).
He installed a new protection system that by default will automatically ban an IP if it hits more than 50 times in a minute.
The problem with it is that, in my case, some of SAS's pages actually hit the server 6 times (the page, the top banner, the skyscraper, etc. etc) so just 9 page hits would flag an IP.
Add to the problem multiple sites on one server (again, in my case, MHL is on the same server) and someone could easily go over 50 hits in a minute.
I asked Tim to increase my threshold to 200 hits per minute per IP and have had no problems since.
Other sites may try and ask Tim to increase it to 100 and see if it solves the problem.
Thanks Crystal!

That's the first thing I thought of, if the OP will send me their IP I will look, and unban it, but all the servers are 100 by default, or 50 for SYN_RECV depending on what is on the server. SAS and the xray sites are at 200 because of the self linking done. All the the new servers or when I get around to spending time on one of the older servers is being changed to SYN_RECV as it is more accurate to what I am trying to catch.

Hey, thanks Mitgib and Onlooker, that will be great if the OP gets his problem sorted.

I don't even know what host.exe file is or where to find it or what it does. So I have no idea. I even took the firewall/antivirus/etc all off, restarted my computer & then tried clicking the links. I get the same thing. It will not let me in no matter what. When I click on the email link the image in that email will not show either. No other site I am with (12 currently not including theirs) do I have problems with.
