it's matter of how many of these referrals are active

Yeah, so risky. First, must be sure that the site is honest (try on dishonest one, and you'll lose all the money).
Second risk is the activity factor of your downlines. But if you buy so many referrals, don't worry. There must be at least 2 or so of your referrals are active.

I'd rather pay less and write up a good email ad and use free traffic exchanges to gain referrals. No matter what you do, it's a gamble so why not promote your referral link instead. You're taking a chance of being given referrals that some sites consider a few clicks as being an active candidate for referral packs.

I purchased two ref packs at Clixmania and I'm quite pleased. More than 95% of them are active.

Buy referrals. Yup that is a good thing to do.
Do it the easy way.
Buy that top upgrade at a site that is new...and you know will be run by a good PO. For this trick to work you will have to be around click world for a while and get to know who is who. Over half of the sign ups to a site are not referred which means that your X10 referrals position for that upgrade can stack up downline fast.
I have paid to sign ups out there, and approved some today. These sign ups tend to not be clickers unless they see their accounts grow fast towards a low payout. (I pay for sign ups to get paid to sign up sites) Sign up sites are a great place to find those new sites, and get paid to try them, by signing up yourself.
The ultimate downline builder in my opinion is that top banner ad. It gets those clickers (that are clicking when they see that banner) to sign up to that new to them site and start clicking.
That top banner gets that top clicker.

Hey,
I have bought refs from a few sites, and the best results I have found is at Advercash. 80% of my purchased refs were active, which I think is a great percentage. I have heard that Clixmania is great, but I haven't got them yet, so I can't comment about that. And, it is really about luck and probability- if you buy enough referrals, you will probably make your money back.
Good Luck!

I guess VelocityClicks is a good site to buy referrals, they 'replace' some of the inactive ones with active ones.. but you still get to keep to inactive ones (they might become active, you'll never know).
But still , you have to be lucky.

It can be good to do, but it is a gamble. Make sure that it is a site or a person that you trust before you buy referrals.

What is the difference between buying leads and referrals, and what is the best place to either in everyone's opinion?

I believe both words are somewhat similar and the only difference is that when you buy referrals from an existing program, you have an idea what kind of programs they are into which means they are more targeted.
There are sites where they just sell leads or referrals but you have no idea where they came from or what their interests are so your offer may not be suited for them whereas if you buy referrals from an existing program such as bux.to you know exactly what type of program they are iterested in.
Take care.

I have tried buying referrals initially, and it is definitely not worth it. It is better that you use that money and advertise for yourself, you will get much better referrals.

I think there is a big difference between buying referrals from the site itself and buying them from some kind of paid-to-sign-up service. Some site owners sell members with no upline that have been active in the site. That works better, if you ask me.

it definitely works with me, i get referral from both buying and advertising but mostly the active one is the one which i bought..if you invest your money in a right place you will hardly lose your money.

Buying referrals might be fast and easy but nothing beats the good old simple and free way of using your referral link.

Be careful when you are buying referrals - a lot of sites give out fake referrals.
ALL bought referrals on bux.to are FAKE. They'll have names like dslkfah and fhle80 and they'll click once or twice every day. I got 15 referrals from them and every single one was fake.

I've always been scammed with guaranteed signups.
Most were fake and others became inactive after a couple of days.
In my opinion buying signups where they are offered a reward for joining do not work.
They will just join for the reward and nothing else.
I prefer to generate my own signups. It's more work but better eventually.

Aside from referrals being inactive and the bit, here is something that needs to be carefully thought about.
Sites are out to make money from SELLING referrals and they do so with the objective of getting a return on their investment. If more members are making money on referrals then the website is not making money - so, any website that is going to stick around for the long run is going to make sure that they are on top when selling referrals.
Another reason I do not sell referrals. I think it is a sort of scam scheme (again, my opinion) to sell referrals. I think the best way to get referrals is for members to advertise their referral URL and gain them honestly and in a more targeted manner.

I have started using a great web search service that allows me to earn money from searching in my normal way. It`s quick and free to set up, keeps you up to date on your earnings and pays out monthly,0.02£ per search。

In my experience, being successful with buying referrals is about acquiring large numbers of people in your downline (in hundreds), providing that the program you chose to get referrals for has honest owner(s) and a multi level referral system in place like Htmail or Hits4Pay. Sooner or later you get a few super active ones that build their downlines aggressively (while about 98% of your referrals don't have anyone in their downlines). And if the program has at least two levels of referrals with 10%-100% earnings per referral level your investment will pay off in time and you will start making money.
It also helps if you have a way of contacting people in your downline and "encourage" them. That's my 2 cents.

Hey guys. Sorry for reviving this old post, but after all this time, the question still remains unanswered...
Anyone purchased any PTSU? If so, in wich sites? What were the results?
And what about sites like buyrefs and webmediamerketing? Did anyone tried these? Results? experiences?
Thanks
