Just a heads Up Check you account settings at Polar Bear Clicks My account got suspended. ALL My accounts at ALL Programs ALWAYS have been correct info every one of my accounts. My account apparently came up for random payout recently and some how not by my doing my paypal address was changed to my screen name. There is absolutely NO way I did this. I have never had this issues before ever. How does a paypal address change to a screen name? Anyways check your account and make sure your info is in correctly. I had recently been into my account info changing the search thing I know it was correct even then. Admin was very helpful and gave me back the account. I find this all very odd that it even changed.

It seems as though the PO of adbux has blocked members or at least this member is there anyone else is a member that has been blocked?

This is on my NOT good list. I actually liked her and this program. Is it totally unheard of that a script might have an error? I do not think I was rude until the last statement and even that was not was just saying oh well I am done. I never once called her a liar or implied she or any Person Changed it from the very start I said must something wrong with the system / script.

This has nothing to do with anyone else other your account. What is it that you find so odd?? My guess is when you changed your search option you put your users name in the wrong area and then when you saved the changed it was changed.

I felt insulted by your insinuations - I run a honest ship and yes, .33c is nothing - look at the been paid list. I Pay all the time and no person hardly ever has to request, as I pay them way before they reach that level. All I was trying to do was pay you and your info was wrong.

Was I rude? I honestly thought this would help. I did not think I was Implying anything about any one not being honest. I don not understand how she drew these conclusions By The Way I had been a member since AUGUST 07. Not too long but long enough.

Something similar happened to me one time.

Did you recently change your account information using Roboform?

The last time I moved, I went in to change my address at the sites I belong to. I just clicked the autocomplete on Roboform and saved.

I found out later that Roboform had changed my payment information too.


On the other hand though... I once moved Charmed-Cents to a new server and a couple of the database tables got rearranged weird... and that caused information to show up funky... like email address as home address... stuff like that.

But it happened to everyone in the site and if Gail has been making enough random payouts... she would of seen it numerous times already.

That would be something more like asking a member, but Unfortunately no I did not. I went in and unchecked the search box and then entered my password and left, I could see and even understand that if I use that for this but Honestly I am afraid to use robo form at a time like that cause it puts your password even in the cancel account area and if ya were to use the fill and submit you would loose yuur account. So anyways Thanks for the response. I was working on sites info here and taking the main accounts I had and un checking search after everything happened here in the apairof topic. Funny thing is I did this to numerous accounts and I am double checking them Like Myster-E-Mail I did at the same time as Polar Bear clicks and all my info there is correct. I do not know what could have caused it. Is it possible that scripts do this kinda of thing? I tryed asking if it had happened to anyone else. I received a rude response back. Not sure still if it had. Edited to ad this. Also forgot to mention my Favorite id that is saved in robo form is Lower case jezikahs and what was on this site was Capitol "J"

I just wanted to ad this. For others In general its a great program and the admin is very fast with response but for me I would much rather not deal with a response like what I got. I closed my account and That was my choice on how to deal with it all. Others may feel differently. I just do not like dealing with admin's that give off to me IMO is a bad impression. I mean come on how would you as a member take some of thing listed here or you as admins feel if a member said something like Yep you do not want that debate. Maybe she really did not understand what I meant when I said There MUST be something wrong with the system. I dunno I really feel let down, and a little insulted as well. But I'll get over it. 1 less program to handle the email load of about 100 + less mails a day.

I guess it must be a misunderstanding between the two of you. When you are saying something wrong with the system, she may be taking it as a whole (PolarBearClicks) got something wrong instead of the cash crusader script has something wrong. And perhaps this thing has never happen before so she may be puzzled why this happens to you.

I got once random paypal payment before so I will check when I get back home today whether my paypal address has changed as well. If it really changes, then as what you have said, there might be something wrong at the script level.

I got 3 random payouts from there and I love this site.

If I were you, I would just thank them for giving back the account. I wouldn't go all the way and say that there's something wrong with the system. There might be other reasons for this like someone got into your account.

Hi, just to confirm that my payment detail is still the SAME as before, so I guess I can conclude that's nothing wrong with the system for my case.

Personally, I kinda think you started off on a defensive note. When you stressed the words "never" & "ever" in your response dated 01/20 at 10:53, it came across as you blaming the PO. So I can sort of see why she got defensive back at you. From there it spiraled downward in a hurry.

It could have been a hiccup when you took the search option off. Stuff like that can happen and there would be no way for the PO to know about it. She actually did the right thing in suspending your account. She would have had no way of knowing that you didn't change the info or if someone else did. All she knew is that she tried to pay you and there was a problem. She did what any good PO worth their salt would have done in the same circumstance.

The one thing I'm not so sure of, is when she said that she couldn't log into a member's account. I may be mistaken, but I think a PO can actually log into a member's account. I'm not saying she did that because I don't think she did. But I do think it's possible on the Cash Crusader script. A PO can correct me if I'm wrong.

Bottom line, this whole situation got blown way out of proportion.

I would also feel insulted if any PO said I had false information, particularly when its a known fact that programs like Roboform will put your password and/or username in spots you may not want them in.

Reading over your comments I don't see that you IMPLIED anything.

You asked a question about has this happened to anyone else OR is there a script glitch.

The PO seems to have taken that as an personal attack and an insinuation of wrong doing on her part when IMO it is nothing but an honest question from a puzzled member

If the PO is the one writing the scripts (which she isn't unless John Orijas and Jutaky and Imad have all had sex changes bf.gif without telling the rest of us) and you said there was a glitch in the scripts I could see her being upset and/or defensive. But since the PO isn't the script programmer/writer she cannot guarantee that there aren't script glitches. I imagine she also hasn't gone through her entire database to see if this has happened to anyone else either.

yes suspending her with the situation as it stands was what any good po would do. That will get a members attention in a hurry.

BUT the response to the ticket from Gail's end when Jezikahs asked about a glitch or if it had happened to anyone else seems way too defensive given that she is NOT a programmer/script writer and she doesn't know how the scripts work down to the nth degree (when I belonged to her site, she couldn't even tell me why 100+ clicks wouldn't show up on the click climber). To be fair, most PO's do not know the technical details of how the scripts do what they do.

And oh yes she --or any other PO of a Cash Crusader site-- can indeed login into a members account---either directly from the admin panel or using the username and encrypted password. I've done it numerous times when people have complained they aren't being credited for their clicks (mostly because they aren't responding to admin messages)

Don't put the blame on yourself and you are certainly not dumb, it always take two hands to clap. Your words look pretty okay to me but some words used like NEVER and that you have checked may have gotten her nerves such that you are blaming the system (her?) for it so I guess that's where she gets defensive.

Take a break and join other nice programs. ax.gif

Agreed. Like I said, the whole thing took a downward spiral real fast.

Thanks for the clarification. I was pretty sure a PO could, but it's been a while since I was a helper at a site and wasn't sure if things had changed.

Well, it is always a good thing to bring something like this to the POs attention. But the inflection on the words "never" and "ever" may have put me on the defensive. So I can see why she got upset.

As for the part in bold, I know a couple of people in my off-line life who need to do that as well. LOL

also ANY member information can indeed be changed from the admin panel when using CC scripts. I've had members who have had problems with their password not 'taking' when they wanted to change something so they contacted me to change it for them.

Yeah thankfully I learn a little more each day when it comes to talking / typing. Its so hard to comprehend how a person meant something because You can not see facial reactions. I definitely need to get used to this. I can although honestly say I thought hard about my responses to her. Just not hard enough. I had to fix them cause I was more upset when I read them the first time. I mean I read a response and started typing what was really on my mind and then stopped for a few seconds went back over it all and then responded. I think I had to delete quite a bit of text before I even sent the messages. I've really got to stop and think more about how my text can be taken.

I kinda figured admins can do that but I never meant she did it. I know I can log into my personal Family tree site and add users and delete and change things. I was not sure about PTC, Or Ptr Sites or how that all worked.

No Thanks JJ I think this was more misunderstanding given Internet verses face to face talking would have went better. Also good luck getting to the random. I have been a member since August and just now came up for random for the first time.

Sounds like a misunderstanding to me...
I have been with Gail's site since it opened. I was getting way too many randoms and had to ask Gail to stop paying me so that I could have a chance to redeem. Roboform...hmmmmm, used it. I prefer Google autofill. I believe it to be safer in many ways.
It does pay to check your info from time to time.
Gail is one of the most honest webmasters out there, and has never let me down. Make sure you check your user info if you are not getting randoms, contact Gail with a support ticket if you are unsure what you need to check in your info to get those randoms.

I have not been to GPF in while and just finding this post today - so sorry for the delay on clarification.

Yes, I may have been a bit to "testy" on this day. I took it as Criticism when I honestly try my very
hardest to run the most honest and clean site as I can. The "I never" bolded etc... I guess I just was thinking
that I was being accused of some "fishing" misdoings and I took offense to it. I agree, I could have handled
this situation much better!!!

I guess there could be a way to change info - But I have never tried it so I would not know. All I know is that if the payment info was changed, I assumed (because I DO NOT mess with members accounts and would not even know until reading these post's) that when I look at a member account the Password it is encrypted!! I have no clue what someones password is and I have no reason to know that information. With my thinking - If payment info was changed, I would have had to log into the members area. Not knowing the password, I would have had to change that password - Which means, the reporting party here would never have been able to log in at all, if indeed I went into her account and changed that information and I would have had to also changed that password. I have since now after all this (I had no reason to look into it prior to this reading this post ) found , it is indeed possible to change out info from the admin side.

Bottom line is, I still think the member here just somehow mistakely changed that info when she/he went into her users info to change the search settings. All I wanted was to to have the payout info fixed - never should it have led to this . It was not a deletion of account - but merely a suspension to draw the attention of the member to fix the info so she/he could be paid.

I did indeed handled this situation badly - I should of had much more patience. I have just been "taken" by so many dishonest PO's that I felt her/his comments put me in the place of a dishonest PO and it hurt me....... and I made a mistakes by coming across so defensive!

It is a learning experience for me - and jezikahs I am sorry for being so defensive. I just thought by your capitalized and bolded text you were accusing me of wrong doing and I took deep offense to it. I do not know if you are interested, but if you are - Your account that you cancelled has not been purged and I will open it back up if you would like. If not - I understand why you have not interest in my sites.

Jezikahs, since this is a misunderstanding, you might want to take back your account? I once had a misunderstanding with Sylvega as well for using bot, which of course I did not, since I am choosing the links to click.

Gotten back my account after explaining to her and since then I have continued promoting PBC. =)

I will and thanks a bunch. I know everything online is a learning experience for every one. I never intintionally tryed to upset anyone. And sylvega, We all have bad days, Its fine in the past. IMO I think your very fast at responding and trying to figure out solutions. Just this one did not go so good at all. By The Way I was not upset about my account being suspended I understand that is necessary and I was fine with it I just could not figure out why it was. Until I got a response and let me say this I will never bold words like that again at least not in messages to po's. aa.gif I would love the account back and 206.gif I am very sorry that I am so outspoken at times. Well ctually most of the time. I need to work on that.
