I had read some warnings already yesterday about the Yuwie sites lately .... there are some really nasty Troyans and virusses going with their advertising ... So do take care while being active at Yuwie or while clicking Yuwie promotional pages of other members.... as you might regret it.... And do scan your computer after you have been to a Yuwie site regularly .... It is really a nasty thing.... BTW .... Yuwie is informed but it is still there.... I think the advertiser money is more important than the computers of their members or the ones that are going the their members pages ..... that are being promoted all over this area.

Do you recall which specific trojans are the ones circulating from Yuwie? I just had to spend about four hours the other day cleaning some annoying trojans off my computer that I'm not sure where they came from. I do know I must have seen and listened to that video with the guy "Welcome to Yuwie....Would you take the money...I would" about 1000 times now.

I don't recall the exact ones ... but I will read back tomorrow...maybe my program remembers bj.gif

BTW usually these troyans are in the pages with the load of advertising ... the so called personal pages... they are everywhere... lots of PTC's etc. although sometimes Yuwie normal ref page has nasty things too and often Yuwie is a framebreaker ....

(found one already ... )One of them was this one....and I copied and pasted the security risks:
QUOTE
If you find a program by the name of iexplor.exe on your pc, your computer might be infected with a trojan that goes by the name of sidea.

iexplor.exe is considered to be a security risk, not only because antivirus programs flag sidea trojan as a trojan, but also because other sites consider it a Trojan as well.

sidea trojan is likely a Trojan and as such, presents a serious vulnerability which should be fixed immediately! Delaying the removal of iexplor.exe may cause serious harm to your system and will likely cause a number of problems, loss of data, loss of control or leaking private information.

You should visit our Anonymous Surfing section to make sure your system is not giving away information like that of iexplor.exe.

There were more but I don't recall them exactly ... will post here when I find them too....
