Last evening when I came home from a lovely dinner, I couldn't click any links in my email. I couldn't run any programs from start menu or desktop. I went into safemode, and still couldn't access anything from there. Got an error message, something about this command cannot be run.
I can access task manager, and ran CCleaner through it, that allowed me to open up some links in email. The only reason I'm on a browser is because an anti virus that runs in start up opened a web page, and I have been able to surf. In task manager, I cannot seem to run anything else, get an error message that the program can't be found.
I tried re-downloading Ad-Aware, but cannot open the program. I am currently running superantispyware again, because there's nothing else I can do right now. I did run housecall, only found a few cookies.
I tried to download and run hijackthis, but that program will not open.
Any suggestions?
