MisterChris
I meant "bad PTC" not "Bat PTC" (fat fingers)

There is a bad PTC in the Contest PTC section at Paying cash which contains several 0-iframes. The banner looks like this:

Did you report this to the WM of the site. He could take care of it much better if you were to sumbit a contact form to them.

Yes I did - I submitted the information I posted here through the "contact us" feature at the site.

UPDATE- I have heard back from Remy at PayingCash.net that he has deleted the bad PTC from their database.

I just clicked on a payingcash link a few minutes ago at a manual TX and got two virus warnings from avast. ah.gif
Lisa0069
Yes do not click on any Paying cash links. He has at least 2 bad affiliate programs running on his and in his ptp pages. Several programs has stopped the ads and will not allow them any longer.

Hi,

I have added it in Adblock but am not very good at this, is it good if I added : http://www.paying cash.net/* ? (without the spce of course, this was to make the link unclickable)

Thanks aa.gif

I am not sure. I have a Mac and don't have Adblock. I did just download it from Firefox but I can't see that it works with my version of Firefox. Maybe somebody can help both of us. ap.gif

I always add a "*" at the front and back of whatever I'm adding to Ad Block - seems to work for me okay lol

HTH?

And btw - what is on the Paying Cash site? I have clicked links for it today and haven't any warnings/pop ups of any kind? aj.gif

Last time I had once vastgate thing and then the other time my internet connection frooze without me knowing what caused it and as I received notice from Texaspepper at ShowCase and Lucas saying this :
QUOTE
I have paused all your PTCs for PayingCash.net. There appears to be a rotating popup-downloader on the site and I have received a number of complaints about it. When it has been removed from PayingCash, I will reactivate your ads or you may send me replacements ads!

Thanks so much for safe clicking!

Renee

So all this adding up, I did put it in adblock aa.gif

Thanks for your help aa.gif

They have vastgate and pay-ads.com. Both of which do autosearches and downloads for unsuspecting people that don't have the proper protect.

I think I got adblock up and running and I put *http://www.payingcash.net*

Maybe somebody can tell me what happens if you do click on an ad from them, will it still show up or will there just be a white page.

MAC'S ARE GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MisterChris
For the record- the PTC that I reported (and started this thread about) was deleted. It is possible that there may be other garbage elsewhere on the site such as in their rotator. There were a couple of bad sites in their manual surf a week or so ago but he got rid of those promptly as well. I don't think payingcash is purposely loading up this garbage but I do think that they are not screening their submissions properly before putting it in rotation.

Ah, I had vastgate but haven't seen pay-ads yet , thanks

I had this showing when I clicked on a Payingcash ptp

Adblock
This site has been blocked: h ttp://payingcash.net/
h ttp://payingcash.net/pages/ptp.php?refid=XXX

But I added this too *h ttp://payingcash.net* in Adblock because otherwhise the site would simply load when I clicked on the link without the www

Won't argue about MAC , never touched one so to be honest, I couldn't know ae.gif

Generally I contact the POs but when my computer freezes and I can't define exactly what caused it in the site I clicked on, I can't report it and then I prefer to add it to Adblock temporarily or definitely.

Thanks for the infos aa.gif

I do appreciate that the WM has removed a bad ptc but this WM has been notified for a while now and in the past regarding putting these bad affiliate programs on his site. They are not ads that people are sending in or redeeming for they are hard coded into the pages and only the WM does that. Not looking to start a fight for sure just trying to explain that these bad things that download viruses and do auto searches are on the ptp pages and a lot of people that don't have virus protection or not good enough virus protection could have their computers crashed because of it. He has been notified about these programs yet still has them on there and apparently does not care about any body elses computers as long as he gets that affiliate cash. Maybe this part needs to be moved to a new thread I am sorry did not mean to change what this thread was discussing. But people do need to know. If you have not noticed payingcash is no longer allowed in a lot of different sites as of today and neither of mine since last Tuesday.

I just had admin messages at Mentalemails and hippie-chicks that they suspended those ads as well ... the word is spreading and am glad there are a lot of POs who care aa.gif

Well, I had PayingCash in an ad today and it showed up despite having put it in Adblock, could it be because it was in a frame ?

That would be my guess. To get around that, I forbid IFRAMES via noscript (options -> plugins). It seems to have taken care of the issue.
