This is where I'll be posting pertinent stuff you need to know but what many find to be annoying when I tell them via Admin Message.

Admin Messages

Inasmuch as some are complaining that I send out too many admin messages, they will still be going out as info needs to get to all of you but they will exoire as soon as I make them so nobody has to read them unless they want to know what's going on here.

One thing about it though is that even though no reply is required and nobody will ever have to read any of them they don't want to read, anything posted or sent out via Admin Message will still be just as binding as when y'all were subjected to them before you could get credit for reading another ad.

Please keep the admin messages on the site after they have been sent out. I have been known to look things up there later.

There's another Admin Missive in there called Advertiser Targeting. While nobody is being forced to reqad it, the info in there is still binding.

Which means when we upgraded members send out our weekly or monthly ads that are for points we nust allocate them accordingly.

I have this: 12 PT PTC (NO SEARCHES, NO PTP) / 12 pt PTC to 2000 (No Search, No PTP) (1 left)
Guaranteed Clicks - (TARGETED TO POINTS) / 60 pt to 500 (2 left)

So I must make sure they are targeted to those who want point ads or the ad will not be run.

I always say I am going to get my ads in early but I always do them in a rush the very last minute (due to my depression I find it easier to just click than do admin type things that I can put off until later.) So if I lose ads then it is my fault although I will blame the depression.

We no longer accept new members from the following countries: China, India, Poland, Russian Federation, Taiwan, and Thailand.

It looks like I'll be losing my internet connection sooner than I thought. I'll have satelite internet running on Sunday and I may be down from tomorrow until then. I may get a pass and still have it tomorrow but I doubt it.

you do realize that non members can access this page and read all your admin messages????

First off, sorry about the mess up in the emails yesterday. I was trying to get the mail check plugin to only check emails once a day and set that one and the email scheduler. My mistake, all back to "normal" now.

The other thing is about the 60p to 500 emails that go out. Any time they are used for PTP links, they will be set such that you can click them every 2 days. More points for you faster than waiting for more emails to get redeemed for and sooner for the ptp link advertiser to get their clicks. That and the server doesn't have to hold so many emails all the time that can only be clicked once. So, everybody wins this new plan, right?

Oh, and the reclickable ptp links thing will only apply to emails created from this point forward, the others are still reclickable every 6 days.

rats anyway just thought it was a good thing to let you know since non-members (like MOI) dont really need to be accessing that stuff

From now on, any time someone insists upon giving me a hard time in the forum, I'm going to be adding them to my list of ignored posters. This should decrease my irritability factor so I'm not having it spill out when replying to those who are joking.

So, if someone posts something in the forum that I never reply to, that's the reason. Shoulda had this a year ago, woulda save everbody a lot of unnecessary grief

For those who don't already know, we have an assistant who is helping around the site and she's the one who has been highly instrumental in our getting more caught up. Now for the bad news - some of the email ads you've been getting haven't been targeted properly. Without pointing any fingers and shuffling the blame, TTM is still mine and as such, I'm responsible for everything that happens. If y'all would be so kind and as patient as I know you're capable of, I'll be getting all of it right as soon as I see anything done wrong. My apologies to those who don't want Points Ads whoi got some anyway and those of you who don't want PTP ads and got them, too.

Then again, after seeing how many ads you're missing out on, maybe you'd care to start getting them, too? Justa thought.

Just found out that I can only download 17 gig a month with the satelite connection and that's less than 2 weeks worth of site work. As soon as I can, I'll be installing a second dish and modem so I can get back to doing more. It will still be less than what I was paying in gas to get the faster connection, the hurdle now is coming up with another $300 to get it done when I only get $676 a month and bills are near that as I am still paying for the move.

When you are sick, old, unemployed etc buying something you need is can often be a nightmare. Hope you win some money soon from somewhere.

What about one of the wireless usb cards from someone like Verizon? So far, I've found it works well everywhere I've been and I get to some in the middle of nowhere places. It isn't quite as fast as my high speed DSL, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper than $300+ a month and tons faster than dial-up. As long as you'd have Verizon cell phone service where you live, it should work. No wires, unlimited data transfer a month, etc... You can try it 30 days risk-free...

(The Verizon web site indicates that you should have broadband service in your area - assuming, of course that I can type and that I can read.)

I checked with Verizon last night and they have a 5 gig max. Sprint/Nextel have no limit, are about 8 times faster than dialup (there's no close towers in the middle of nowhere), costs $30 for the part and $60 a month for service. My connection kept timing out at dialup speed and I'm going to have to find a payphone somewhere so I can order it. (tried to get Vonage on the satellite connection, the modem they sent didn't work, I'm going back to real phone service that should be back on sometime between the 21st and the 28th)

Does anyone know if there's anyone besides Sprint/Nextel or Verizon to do this with?

AT&T. Their web site indicates they have the cards. I didn't check their plans or coverage.

Neither did I or I wouldn't have signed up for DishTV's internet. I'm checking all of them more carefully now before I drive another 7 mi to the payphone. Today, at least, it's not in the 40s so it won't be as bad as it was the other day.

Just when I was getting ready to retire for the evening, I got the most hateful email from an exmember who was complaining because the site points exchange was closed. As we all know, the money for that comes from and when we take a loss for a month, it's closed. Well, for those of you out there who are *******, *******, ********* ****** of ******* who care not that the sate is losing money, feel free to sell your points to the site. For the smart ones, you can still sell your points to other members for a lot more than I can pay for them.

Now, if there's no more hate mail, I'll be going to bed.

If you sell them per 10.000 you can get at least!! $0.17 from point buying members.

100x 10.000 makes $17,- !! (for 1.000.000= onemillion points)

They don't care about not making more money and they don't read Admin Messages. What one did/does is continue to harrass me because a mistake was made and rather than give me a chance to repair it and apologise, as I do every time, she tells me what a fine site she has and how worthless mine is. Money has nothing to do with it. It's all about being irrational and illogical.

My best guess would be that you didn't read the latest Admin Message about the Cheap PTP ads being targeted solely to those who have opted in for them. Until you do (no pressure) you'll not be receiving any ptp ads where the link is worth .024-.028¢ or 24-28 pt. This change was brought about due to my seeing members quit because of the thousandth of a cent ads they didn't want to opt out of due to there being no way for them to do so. Now, all have a choice instead of my sending them ads they never really wanted.

Did you do something similiar to what I did recently elsewhere? Change things and then put my password in the wrong place so nothing was changed.

Check your user info to make sure it correct for you.

If is is then is might be that the crons hadn't run fully before the last lot of ads were sent out. But they do come in through the day so hopefully you will get some more soon.

And do not ask me what a cron is.

is progran executed by server at time you choose.. In CC it do update, and all the stuff, you had to set it at server when installing CC to do task like crediting upline for downline earning.

You are still in the same country so there won't be a problem but letting Ron know like this means that if he does spot the different computer he won't worry.

I had a fortnight in Italy, we stayed in ian apartment in Bagna da Lucca and fell completely in love with the nearby sity of Lucca. But we went to Firenze for a day and it is a lovely city so enjoy your visit there.

The only problem will be if you use another's computer who is already a member here and you do not tell me about it. BTAIM, I'd probably remember that you're not one of the ones I have to watch out for in this respect and let it slide. Too much to do to add something like cancelling someone I know is cool.
