What is a PTP rotator? Do most PTP sites (DonkeyMails in particular) accept these? Is it worth it to buy advertising on one?

Paid To Promote Views, FAST TRAFFIC TO YOUR SITE
Your web site URL is inserted into our Paid-To-Promote area rotator. Our members earn credit by advertising their PTP link at various places around the web. When they advertise their PTP link, the advertisers site shows up for those viewing the PTP link URL. This is a great way to gain a lot of exposure for your site as it is seen by nearly 500,000 people per day. -- NO SAS or other PTP site links permitted in this area. We also not accept any popups, popunders or flyinads.

~ Copy from donkeymails advertising page

PTP rotator is the middle section of the ptp page...the one that shows other then the PTP site that you promote.

Donkeymails PTP will not allow PTP rotator traffic and most of the site will not allow you to advertise your ptp link in the ptp rotator.

I don't quite understand this one.But if you want to promote donkeymails ptp link then it is not worth it.Because most site will not allow ptp link in the ptp rotator. Some site will not even refund your money only ask you to change a link.

Hope that helps! ap.gif

ptp rotator- those are usually sold as ptp rotator views, which as explained lie in the middle part of a ptp promo page(ie your donkey ptp page)
almost all ptp rotator view ads being sold do not allow ptp pages, they only allow affiliate pages(usually earns .10-.20 cpm, much lower than ptp pages)
on whether its worth it, depends on your affiliate page and how much you advertise it, i think many people earn alot with it- but you have to spend on ads i think(don't have an affiliate page anymore)

Didnt catch you well. That means I can use both ptp pages and affiliate pages with ptp rotator, or there are other special ads for the affiliate pages. May be I am confused with it. Please explain me how AP works, and why if it has lower cost people use it.

Thanks.

only affiliate pages(or non-ptp sites like ref pages) can be used inside ptp rotators. Altho affiliate pages have lower cpms than ptp pages, people still use them because they can be advertised on more places than ptp pages(i think some allow autosurf sites), affiliate pages usually don't have "approval sites list"
