Hi,
I just wanted to know as to whether a person is allowed to have more than 1 egold account. You know......one for business and one for personal use or something like that. I dont think it is allowed.....but I wanted to check anyway........

You are allowed to have more than one egold account as long as your details within it are correct when you open it. If you say you come from another country and your IP doesnt match, they dont allow anything sent to it until you fix it up. Also, if your phone number is wrong, and they try to contact you because you have lost your egold passphrase, then you have just lost that account.

This question was asked before in General Discussion, the link below is to it.

Would there really be a point anyway? you only get the referral percentage for your first level...and you don't get it for transferring between referred accounts.

...I'm assuming that's what you're thinking of anyway.

And I think you'll find anyone creating that many accounts would attract e-gold's attention quite quickly.

Is it really safer if you use one account to recieve payments and divert all the funds to another egold account that nobody excpet yourself knows about???

Use an e-gold account to store and withdraw your big dollars with a long password and another e-gold to spend bubbles, advertising,...
sometimes there are scams (ex : www.e-qold.com) and if you are a newbie or just tired your pass can be stolen. i've already seen another scam promoted by egoldforum where they told you to spend $0.01 in a fake e-gold spend page to get back $10
