I am trying to gauge what type of response people having been getting on average when running ads.
I ran one on Friday and got about 80 hits and far fewer searches.
Just wondering what other people has been seeing.
By the way does anyone know how many members there are in Search4search?
Thanks

I ran a couple of ads on there and only got between 20 and 30 hits. I have no idea how many members there are but I was wondering if maybe alot of them were foreign or what since I didn't get alot of hits.

You sure you had only 20-30 ???
I have always more than 70 and after that it depends on .. I don't know what it depends upon ;-)
And generally the search4search members don't just click they do what they're expected to do
And if you advertise in Paid2Clicks, you'll have the right amount of clicks but dunno why, the paid2clicks only show on page 5 for me .....

I use Search4Search quite often. I usually get about 80 clicks(e-mail), with generally 60-70 searches. I do know that when I run certain engines I get more response than some of the other engines that I use.

Not really sure why, but some engines pull really good responses and others not so good.

Hmmm...I'm a member of Search4Search. I haven't run any ads yet but think I may have some insights into the click-thru rate. I know I only click on links I know I can make a valid search on that day. I'm really glad to hear that it sounds like others do too.

I have advertised there quite often but i always managed to break even but never made decent profit there. I managed to break even cause Mimi always sends out the ad twice

I ran 2 ads... about 50+ each... mimi was nice to run my ad twice so I managed to score a 100+ hits for both ads
but I dun think I broke even...

My last ad got 36 hits and I have no clue how many searches, which is ok because it's free when I redeem

I'm glad I saw this. I always look for Paid to clicks everday and never see any but I just checked on page 5 and sure enough there was one.

don't know if you have tested some search engines but for some search engines, they are only for certain countries and that is why you don't get the right clicks/search. But for some search engine, after I tested, for some reason they just don't count the right amount of clicks. I am sure how many clicks got it because I asked my friends to test. And there were from valid countries. I am sure it is not the search engine's fault but maybe sometimes the system doesn't work as well as it should be? I am not sure! But all in all, by advertising in search 4 search, you should get decent response rate!

Yes, I also receive 2 emails everyday.
My search went out last night with search4search so far I have received 15 unique clicks and 6 invalid for a total of $.32. I am hoping maybe not everyone has searched yet.
Or maybe weekends isn't the best time to send your ad out? I was thinking it might be better on the weekend as more people might possible be home and could have more time to search.
Anyone else have any opinions?
Thanks,
Kathy

I love Search4Search, great GPT. I search and make extra clicks, so I hope people come back and advertise a bit. Maybe I'll advertise a search engine in the future. Love it. Almost reaching payout.
