at the time it was active i only had cash desks (search engine) and gpt boycott open so I am thinking it came from a link i had clicked earlier (being as i use firefox and open more than one email at a time, it could have been a link from cash delight or a link from ivy mails that was causing the problem.)

ivy mail link was for no-minimum ptp, and the cash delight link was for xray cash ptp (I've already reported drive cleaner to xray cash twice last week)

pc privacy tool popup will not go away no matter how many times you click the cancel button. I attempted to close firefox and still the pc privacy tool popup continued although firefox was closed

I use Ad-Aware and I like it........However, about the privacy protection popup I do NOT care who created it!!

I do NOT like a popup that takes over my computer to the point that I have to shut completely down to get rid of it.

Doesn't matter who makes it if you don't want their product you should NOT have to accept it and you should not have to click CANCEL 15-20 times and then still have to reboot to get rid of it (at least drive cleaner will go away after at most 3-4 times of hitting cancel)

this is a forced download and therefore NOT a good thing no matter who it is made by.

it was NOT installed. that was the problem I didn't allow it to be installed so the popup wouldn't go away. please don't assume that i know NOTHING about my own computer and what is on it/not on it.

Do an anti-trojan scan. Maybe it's a virus or trojan or something like this.

Take a screenshoot and post it here so i can tell what is going on.

Thinking back, I used to get that stupid pop-up. I don't think I've seen it since downloading Admuncher and squsi.

Might give those a try.

I highly Reccommend Avast 4 home I never get junk like that. I will get a warning from Avast telling me about the issue and I press abort connection of what ever is trying to get in.
