I've noticed on Request An OutXchange page it says: Your Profile Rating: 0 Star
I've activated DigotStandart Portfilio and still have 0 stars rating. Maybe that's why it takes so long to receive outxchange?
Anyone know how to increase profile rating?
What rating do you have?

I haven't seen the profile thing....as I haven't been to request an outxchange in several months.

And the time taken to get money from them at the moment is mostly due to the fact that they're too busy to process them themselves, so all the outxchanges fall into the DXMerchant's hands.

I'm one of them. I'm sure there are others, but probably not many yet. I've paid out something over $300 via PayPal, NetPay and StormPay in the last 2 days. Why no more? That's all I had available at the time.

I trust DXGold, and I've just had some funds freed up offline. I'll be putting these in to help make more payments in the next day or so.

So the major problem is that us DXMerchants (who aren't affiliated with the company other than being members the same as you) weren't prepared for the sudden rush of people. The DXConsole had only recently started being usable (I didn't even realise it *was* working until I had a look after I saw the complaints about long waiting times), and it hasn't been up continuously as they try to finish all its functionality off. So we were stumbling in the dark a bit aa.gif And of course, we didn't have money in the right places ready to pay people, as we weren't expecting to have the demand.

That all being said, every time I log in now, I see a shorter queue of payments, so I guess we're getting there aa.gif

One other thing to note, if you request a large amount, there will be less merchants available who can pay you. Each merchant can set the maximum amount they want to process per transaction. I'm still looking at this part of it, but at the moment mine's set to $100 for all the currencies I accept. If you request more than $100, you won't appear on my list of available requests. There's probably a few other merchants who can/will process larger amounts, but as the amount increases, there'll be less who can.

So, something that might help is to request smaller amounts. I haven't looked at the outxchange system from the requesting side for a while, so I don't know if you can queue more than one request at a time, but if you can, then, say 2x$50 will probably get paid faster than 1x$100 at the moment.

I don't think this will keep being a problem (the time factor). Once everything is running smoothly, and once us merchants manage to get appropriate funds in place, payments should be able to happen very quickly.

Oh, one last note, remember all outxchanges happen manually. There has to be a human to do them. Some inxchanges can happen automatically, I've had 3 PayPal inxchanges automatically use my account. Any payment service that has "Automatic Payment Notification" (I think it's called) should be able to happen automatically. But *all* outxchanges are manual (so we don't have to give our account details to DXGold).

Wow, long post aa.gif Hope it's cleared up a few questions people have had.

You have to sign up as a DXMerchant, then sign up for the DXConsole to be able to handle in/outxchanges. I think the only stipulation is that you have to have an active portfolio.

As to why? Because they pay us to aa.gif Mostly the merchant bit is for accepting payments etc as you said, but personally I'm not one to knock back the opportunity to earn a bit extra aa.gif

Basically, every payment system they'll pay out to, has a commission rate. You accept an xchange, process it, and receive that percentage of the payment. Stormpay and Paypal are 4.2%, netpay is 4.8 if memory serves.

Make sense? aa.gif

Oh, by the way, for the record, I've just checked, and my rating is 0 as well. I've been using the DigotProfessional since I joined (about a year ago?).

At a guess, I'd say it's a feature that they just haven't implemented fully yet.
