YES...I am VENTING...This is the first time I sat in front of this computer in
DAYS and I am SICKENED by the Mean and NASTY emails I am getting.

I am also at a loss for words on the generosity and kindness of the wonderful
members I have who are standing behind me and being so wonderful to my son
Chris.

ON that note, I have to lay back down. I am going to try to do all pending
redemptions tomorrow to get caught back up. Chris had us all caught up yesterday

I was just disgusted by this. First, the poor woman has been in the hospital and is obviously very ill. Second, her teenage son has been doing a fabulous job of keeping the site open during her illness. Cheers to you, Chris! When you open your own site there will be a lot of people jumping to sign up!

If you have been receiving emails from Paid Mail Inc. then you should know what the circumstances have been...why are some members continuing to harass Colleen on items that are CLEARLY stated in the Terms and Conditions? Get a life, people. She doesn't need your ignorance upsetting her and delaying her recovery.

I personally haven't made any redemptions and won't until she's 'back in the saddle' and ready to rock again.

Colleen, you hang in there! Maybe you should put out an English test in an upcoming mail!

Sorry but I just had to vent. Colleen is one of the best webbies around and she deserves better treatment than this.

Couldn't have said it better myself. She's one of the only webmasters I've seen who actually go to the lengths she has to, not only keep a program alive, but make it a fantastic one!!

Even when she's ill, she makes arrangements for the site to continue. For those of you who have a problem with anything she has done, feel free to leave.

Yep, and she even goes as far as pointing out about the free translators there.

Family Affair, I looked at the support folder and it seemed as if the only unresolved complaint is yours. I suppose that Colleen is the person who should really answer this but since she is ill (and trying to get well enough to have her surgery) and I started this topic I'll do my best.

It was somewhat difficult for me to understand your questions but this is what I got out of it:

1) You requested payout on 5/2/03.

2) The $5.00 was deducted from your account balance but you had not received payment.

3) You emailed Colleen, and she stated that some of your downline had clicked on the $100 link and that your earnings had to be adjusted accordingly. She asked you to let her know what your earnings were so that she could make the correction.

4) You replied with the requested information. You also inquired on why you were only debited $5.00 instead of the full amount.

5) Colleen was hospitalized on approximately 5/5/2003. Her sons sent out an email to all members of PaidMailInc informing them of this. It was also posted in several places on this forum.

6) On 5/10/03 you posted in the support folder asking for a reply.

By deducting already without paying & not giving an explanation, later 30 days later you may have forgotten you haven't paid & tell us you already paid 1 month ago.



It seems as if your real questions are:

1) Why were you only able to redeem for $5 instead of the entire amount?

Well, it says right on the redemption page on the PaidMailInc site:

Colleen had also sent this out in an email not too long ago.

2) Why was your account debited without payment being received?

I don't know the answer to this because I haven't requested payout yet but when I have redeemed for ads my points are deducted immediately even though it may take a few days for my ad to be sent. It appears that this is how the system is set up.

Family Affair, I hope this helps you. I am 110% sure that you will be paid within the 30 days specified by the Terms. I have complete faith in Colleen and many others do as well.

It is obvious that she has been very ill. Give her some time to recuperate. In the meantime, Chris and Josh seem very capable and are trying their best to keep the site functioning.

I hope that you are never in poor health but if it happens I truly wish that people show you support and understanding.

Wrong, I do not ask questions already on site. it is on redemption page, I don't redemn blindly, if not I already requested another payment before May 1st. I delibrately redemn on May 2 incase she try to say her clock is still April 30. We can only redemn once monthly.

I know even before it was reported on the news section. I was concerned about my payment so I was keeping a close watch on this program.

Thanks, even though you typed alot, it still did not answer my question & I am pretty angry at her now because she not only ignore my email & news section forum post, not doing anything, she is complaining to everyone about some members when it is actually her own fault.

Why is she still telling me irrelevant information NOT answering my question directly? Avoiding my question even thought I asked many times. All I ask is about the $5 debited & not paid, she is pointing at other things. It just makes me furious in the end she still do not answer my question. am.gif

Maybe because of this..

She already said many times that she can only make random payments for now due to HUGE debt the site had when she bought it & asked us not to email her regarding payment.

You are one of lucky members if you get paid last month.
I hit the redemption button in March & still waiting
(Of course I am not desperately waiting for my payment)

FA: This has been said in the past in reguards to the redemption page. If you click a button on there, doesnt matter if it's point or not, it deducts it from your account. Look at when you pressed the button and when it was deducted, you might find it was the same day you pressed the button. I do know it does it straight away for points, so I cant see why it isnt doing it straight away for the money side. Ppprk has pointed this out


Oh, and FA, I dont get fooled by her, I help her aa.gif Help which I might add she has appreciated on many occasions.

Jaikula: I think points deduct is automatic, but cash isn't. I am not 100% sure, can anyone confirm this?

When you hit the redemption button ,$5 is deducted automatically from your account now.

Hmm if that is true... then it is some sort of misunderstanding...

I thought I checked my account after my redemption & nothing is debited. However as I redemn so many programs with same scripts daily... I may have overlooked.

Webmasters can choose auto or manually deduction in their admin area...
so not all CC sites auto-deduct cash or points when members hit the redemption button

well I think that colleen is super nice and I think it's horrible that she is sick and I hope she recovers very soon aa.gif I will be praying for her while she is in surgery. I think she should be (and probably is) proud of Her son Chris I think he is doing a remarkable job and can't hardly wait till he gets his own ptrp aa.gif At least she is nice enough to get someone to run the site while she is away whether than making every wait till she gets back to me that is superb aa.gif Shows just how much she thinks of her members even when she is sick aa.gif I think she's great... aa.gif

This is a great program.
I have been a member for a long, long time.
Colleen has done a fantastic job of turning the site around.
When the payout was raided to $5.00 I was wondering how long it would take to reach payout.
I stuck it out, giving her time to prove herself and SHE DID.
I am glad I stayed.

Colleen, and now her boys are doing a super job.
As for paying,
I put in a request on April 19, 2003 and was paid on April 21, 2003.

I have to say that Colleen is the most helpful webmaster I've seen. Occasionally when there has been some sort of problem with my account, it has been solved quickly. As for the automatic deduction for payment, it makes sense to me. There are a lot of people trying to cheat these programs. What if someone put in a payment request and then used their earnings for an ad??? This would take a tremendous amount of time and energy to fix. It's just easier.

Now for the whole newbie thing, I have to admit, I don't see what not being a newbie has to do with Colleen's illness. A lot of webmasters wouldn't go to the trouble she has to keep things normal in her absense. She was nice enough to have her sons take over so that we could continue clicking. How many people have you seen go to that amount of trouble? I can't speak for everyone, but Colleen definitely has my support.

I know she is sick, and I am sorry for that, but I just want to know why I cannot login and am not getting emails. I think I was deleted back when the site was having problems, like a month or so ago, but I don't know why. I would just like some response because I was an active member and don't think I breached any terms of service, so I am just curious why this happened (and I would like to be a member again! ae.gif )

I hope someone can help me! Thanks!
