I just purchased both of these programs and now my subscription was cancelled for no reason, they are not replying to my emails, and now I get this:

Why did you cancel my subscription? I dont
understand. Now all the programs I purchased are not

Does anyone have a clue what is going on?

The paidbanners email site is coming up the same way. It's possible there is a problem with the server they are all on and he's not around to get it fixed or it could be something more sinister. I don't keep any of the stuff he sends but if I remember correctly the last program he wanted everyone to join was one he was making $4000 a week? month? with and he said he was going to be busy with it. Think he may have even said he had to be away for awhile. Maybe someone else kept the email.

Yeah, I know it sucks that the sites are down, I hope they will be coming back soon, or even at all!

I got that email as well. I have emailed Nigel & Sue Paul. But he/she has not responded. Him being away with another program should not have shut the site down.

I joined Paid Banners, but did not pay for it. I recieved it as a bonus from Eco Aid. But once I was clicking away I came across Be a Mentor. As a special from Sue Paul, I signed up with the stipulation of: I promoted a special link for four weeks and if I did not get a signup, I would recieve my money back plus thirty dollars. Yesterday, I receive a notification that my subscription had been cancelled by Sue, but no return money!

Now, at first I had many good emails from Nigel about Mentor. But I misunderstood what was required of me. I emailed him back and I think I might have offended him slightly by putting: "Crap" in my email expressing a little frustration with the wording of the special link requirements, as I had already sent paid emails with the link that I recieved in the email.

He emailed me back with "what kind of reply was that?"

I emailed back with an apology that it was only an expression and not directed towards him. The next thing I know, I am cancelled with no refund of money!

I don't know, I was just inquiring if anyone else had any problems with them. Anyone who has emailed me or corresponded with me in the past KNOWS that I am a good person and would not purposely offend anyone.

This makes yet another thing they have done to anger members

I'm sure he lost quite a few members in Paid Banners when he pulled his little trick with members PayPal accounts. I know SEVERAL that quit, including myself, and some that even said they'd reported him to PayPal. Dunno...

Actually I think the first thing he did was when he pitched his fit over lack of advertisers in Make-a-Sell and instead of taking some good advice given to him, he just shut it down. I was po'd and I'm sure most upgraded members were.

Yep, I got stung in both Make A Sell and Paidbanners in a way. He did send the earnings over, and I did get SOME of my money back, but not all at PB. I found out VERY early on he has a nasty little side. We started off good, then when I DARED question him on some things, he got very ugly.

But when he pulled that crap about going into people's financial accounts...that was the last straw. He acts like an uptight, arrogant, syncophant, with delusions of Godhood. And that's NOT flaming him. I swear that's how he seems. And I'm sorry if I get edited, but that's how it is. His rants and yelling at members like they're children, his awful promotions wanting even more money, going into private accounts...far outweighs his "fast" pay history.

Don't like the way this business is run. That's why I unsub'd. I have no confidence or trust in anyone who acts like this.

Actually, I took that fairly well--even though I was only about fourth dow from payout in the upgrade matrix when it closed--until...now, when he goes and opens another GPTR. Wanting to switch from PTR to PTC was supposed to have been why he shut down Make-A-Sell. Argh!

It's kinda sad to me how sometimes webmasters start out with a great program and total member respect, then as they acquire more programs their egos get out of control and they lose. They think they have their members under their thumbs and that they'll do anything they ask of them. And alot of times the members do... for awhile. Then they start seeing a different side of things. We see it happen everyday and usually with the webmasters we least expect it from.

I was so close to joining until I read his paypal stunt, that made me think twice and so many others. I think this guy needs to be banned. Funny, remember all the people defending him? Now look.

I've been frustrated that paidbanners is offline too. As far as the paypal stunt goes, I think he did everyone a favor by showing how careless people are with their passwords & what can happen if a dishonest webmaster tries the same thing. I hope everyone changed their passwords, I know I did!

Yes, Nigel paid me, both on Paid Banners and Make-A-Sell - however, I, too, get/got plenty tired of his ranting about lack of sales and member non-participation. Personally, I signed up to get PAID to read, not to PAY to read!

You sound so much like me about the dear "Paymaster" and the neverending rantings. Same thing I said, I might pay you that $7.50 to join for those 7 cents an email (MAS) and 1 cent a banner (PB), but I never signed a contract that said I HAD to advertise or be insulted and yelled at.

He blew it big time. Just so very sorry that all this has happened and people are left wondering. I unsub'd. I don't care how fast he paid, I just didn't want to listen to it all over again and again. I just pray that there's a REALLY good explanation for all this, and he does come back and let all the people who stuck by him and trusted in him know what is going on.

I honestly can't yell scam/scum. I think he overextended and over EXPECTED. I sincerely hope nothing is wrong with him personally, and that it truly is a major site(s) problem. I don't like seeing people suffer if it's the other scenario. Especially paying out like many have done in trust and confidence.
