Has anyone ever done this by chance? They apparently pay you to drive your car with an big ad on it.

It seems like this program has a database with car companies interested in paying you money to have ads placed on your car. Offer is for United States, Canada and the United Kingdom while they say other countries MIGHT be there as well. So in order to find out which companies pays you, a fee has to be paid. I think it might be better to find those companies on your own with google. If this was possible in my country I would love to try

Try google "get paid to drive" and lot's of results will show up.

How do they know if you're keeping the ads on your car and not taking them off?

I think they put a deposit for the ads, and when ever the agreement ends, you get the funds released. or it's paid on a month to month fashion with random checks on the cars
for the most part, they want trucks

There are a lot of companies that pays you to drive their cars. Have you ever seed those redbull cars. Or you can place their ads on your cars and get paid up to $500 per month. Most of these companies are offline.
Why should we pay for information, when we have it ourselves - we just need to share it! A new web site is around which is completely free and every user is welcomed to contribute with knowledge and information. Give it a visit at:
http://drive-a-free-car.infoEverything is free. Just share. It will be great if someones adds contact information for the offline companies he knows.

I have started noticing alot more cars with ads on them since reading this post. They are all pretty new ones though.
This drive-a-free-car.info web site is just a few days old and it's not even on google yet.
Please make it popular by using the "tell a friend" link on it and tell as much friends as you want - when this site becomes a real community we will all benefit from it and we can use it to share other valuable info too. I'm sick and tired of web sites that contain only affiliate links and little to none valuable information.

I had a neighbor who drove an ad car, then got his wife into the same program. They used their earnings pay for a 2 week vacation in Ireland. They still drive ad cars.

It would be great if people like your neighbor join the www.drive-a-free-car.info web site and share some of their experience

I told my hubby to check it out and he is planning to give it a try. His back got hurt at work and is now disabled. He got denied SSI disability and we are trying to live off of his 2 magazine routes, $300 a week. He sees driving a car with advertising on it as a way for a disabled person who can drive to help support themselves. I know it would help us. I want to try it, too. I haven't been able to work in the past ten years, but I can still drive. I hope we can both get a car to drive. We have looked for a way to do this for a while now. Thank you for this thread.

Thanks everyone for all your replies, I agree with dfc and you shouldn't pay for this information so ignore the link in my first post.
I signed up for the site you mentioned dfc, www.drive-a-free-car.info/
Is that your website dfc?
I don't think there's one person that's posted here or on your site dfc that's ever done this. I would be very interested in seeing a post from someone or being directed to another message board perhaps where people who have done this share their experience.
Keep us informed here if anyone finds out anything. I have friends interested in doing this. Thanks!

Yes, it is my web site but i think I purchased a domain name that was used in the past for not very honest purposes and I think that is why google didn't index my web site until now. I have wrote to google to tell them that this is a new web site now and it complies with all the guidelines and everything so it should be indexed and more people visit it and share. I hope this will happen soon.

In the meantime I have decided to put the site on a new, clean domain name since I didn't checked the last one.
The new address of the site is getpaidtodrivetips.com"
The old address still works but now it redirects to the new one.
You may not link to sites you are affiliated with..

It's my understanding that some of those companies provide you with a car to drive if you want. Probably don't get paid as much doing that though but hey you get a free car to drive.

I haven't done it but I'd like to do it. But only if I could choose which ads I put on the car. I'm a big NASCAR fan, a big Tony Stewart fan, so Home Depot would be number 1 which means that I wouldn't want that other home improvement store logo on my car. And I don't like Jeff Gordon which means no Dupont or Pepsi on the car either. I'm a Coke guy any ways. Well really more of a Dr. Pepper guy but between Coke and Pepsi I'm a Coke guy. Fed Ex wouldn't be bad either. I'm from Richmond, VA and Denny Hamlin grew up not too far away. In fact we almost went to the same school together but that's another story. Any ways, the idea sounds cool but I'd probably get stuck with a bunch of sponsors that I don't want.

I have never done it but there are legit paid ad cars out there. Freecar.com is one of them. I seen them on our local news a few years ago and I have an aunt who gets her car paid for as she advertises a car lot in WV.
