I am so fortunate that 99% of my members are absolutely wonderful!
Of course, there is that other 1%.....

happens with me too sometimes...when members dont understand the rules n start accusing webmasters....
ThinkingClearly
Wow. My first comment is why fight over $2.50. Is it really worth the time and effort??
Miki
ar.gif Oh come on $2.50 and he never sent his ad in the first place? Geesh!
I don't know if I will ever buy my own GTR, too much involved with it (Mostly the cheats and impossible members). There are other reasons I dont think I would run a program either but thats besides the point..

Sorry you had to deal with this member
Brenda@PJ
Well, it was a big mess, I do not blame her for being upset, but she really jumped the gun.

Oh I feel your pain!

I just started my PTR a little over a week ago.

Got one person who wanted me to unsubscribe her FOR her because I sent out a anti-cheat link. And she called me childish for it. I didnt respond and just did it.

Day one and people already calling me names! Well 1 person ar.gif
Who doesnt know how to unsubscribe themselves....

Other than that my other members have been nice!

I especially love (not) the people (usually non-program owners) who come on here explaining to everyone with their mathematical formulas how a GPTR company could not possibly pay members because of this and that.....

Its one thing to talk about a scam, this is what this forum is for. But its another thing to be on a totally ignorant high horse and try to bring everybody else down!

If someones sole income is depending on clicking on emails (and they are freaking out over the price of a cup of coffee, albeit Starbucks coffee...), and pondering other peoples private internal business operations, then they've got bigger problems than can be solved in this forum!
Get a job like the rest of us ao.gif

I look at it like this: I get paid, or I don't.
I dont care how or why they might or might not possibly come up with the money to pay every single member, and how much money they are keeping for themselves!

And to wrap this up, it is nobody's business how much somebody else has in their Paypal account!
Everybody knows (or should know) that most smart webmasters will keep seperate Paypal, egold, etc. accounts after hearing about all the hacking going on ar.gif

Ok, I'll post this here as you obviously don't want to answer in support!

I have twice posted messages in PJ support, the first time about error messages on the site, the second time was about an error message on the timer bar.

I wasn't flaming, accusing or impolite. In fact on the second one I put that I was posting just to let you know about the errors.

Both my messages were deleted!

Don't you want to answer me? Or don't you want other members to know about the errors?

You complain about the members then refuse to answer questions from them! am.gif
Brenda@PJ
I deleted them because I had addressed the errors in an email, BaroqueXena, don't get upset.

They were TEMPORARY SITE ERRORS, which DO get dealt with, and I saw no need to leave the posts in the support folder. Why do you require an answer when something gets fixed???

Also, if you will note, many times different people post about the same thing. I generally do delete posts about temporary situations.

Your insinuation that I would try to hide site or email errors is plain silly, I mean, they are OCCURRING.

Sorry I upset you!
BaroqueXena
Why delete them?

Why not an answer to the tune of, hey thanks for letting me know but....................... etc.

Deleting posts is never a good idea, it feels the same as being ignored. All that will happen is that people will post in other folders if you delete the posts in support.

Best thing to do there is when someone has made a post reguarding errors of any sort, and then this get addressed in an email is to place a reply saying they got addressed in the email sent out at [date/time stamp].
lazymails
Why post this in a forum just mail the webmaster.
If every error or mistake would have been posted you need at least 100 dedicated servers LOL ae.gif
amysrewards4mail
Well that's the purpose of a support folder lol If there are problems, suggestions etc., members can post there aa.gif

What's worse, seeing the question on the forum, where everyone can see it.

Or going through a few dozen emails from members with the same question.

I'd go with the forum every time, and I am sure WM's will, they have more important things to do than to be answering and reading the same questions over and over and over again.

I believe that in her paid mails Brenda has requested that members use the support folder here rather than emailing her separately.
lazymails
I check every link i send and every ptc i add, And if there is a problem i send a mail to my members.
Even if i would receive a 100 emails about a problem i'll answer them one by one, Because i think thats a webmasters job even if it means spend a lot of time. Some posted here about lazymails and if one of my members wouldn't have me notified , i wouldn't have seen it. I have spend a lot of time the last days in the forums but i'm not going to do that anymore, my job is lazymails and the other sites i have and not this forum.
If you ask why, well if i had a question for my boss at my dayjob i wouldn't ask it in a newspaper but i would ask him and he will answer me even if a 1000 employees ask the same question.
I'm not saying a forum like this is worthless but nothing for me.

I'm not a member at her site so i didn't knew that. And i'm just venting my opinion.

If you can't get an answer in a support folder there isn't much point in emailing the webmaster. An email is even easier to delete, besides if hundreds of people email the same thing then wouldn't you rather answer in a support folder where people can see it?

I did check if somebody else had posted about the errors before I posted.

I always answer the emails from my members and i save them so i can look back.
I don't have a supportfolder here and i don't want one. I have one at the summersunforum (postalpennies) and wouldn't have that one either but peter asked me if i wanted one. Last week i asked my members what they wanted and except two nobody wanted a forum. but i always tell my members to email me with any question and/or error.

I forgot something, my members can contact me trough ICQ,msn messenger and i even got the yahoomessenger for them.

Good for you. aa.gif

But please don't think that all webmasters are like that, if they were there would be no need for a complaints folder.

And look how big this is.

I know that not all the webmasters are the same, And I'm NOT perfect to, I'm make mistakes and goofup. But just look at the post lazymails, I replied and no answer not even a email with the problems. Such a post can hurt a good program(wich i hope i have ai.gif ).
