One can only hope. The faster it goes down the fewer people to get burned.

It's definitely a bad sign when a site raises the payout level.

Raising the payout level is not going to make them get payouts done quicker as they still have to check each account prior to paying irregardless what the payout amount is and then the inevitable will happen when everyone reaches $10 at the same time are they going to up it to $20?

All raising the payout does is buy a bit of time on average Joe's that have no or little referrals on reaching payout it does nothing for the ones that built big downlines.
MenaC
It's very dishonest the way they are raising the payout amount retroactively. The people who had already requested at $5.00 payout, were removed from the payout list and now have to wait until they are at $10.00 Shame on AdBux for such a scummy move.

People who are promoting this thing really need to stop doing that as it isn't fair to the unsuspecting members who join up. The only members getting paid are those with downlines. They need to realize that they are getting paid at the expense of others which I guess it's their business if they want to do that but they should quit claiming it's a good paying site because it isn't.

Netbux raised its payment too, $50 to $75, before it eventually went offline.

i was very disappointed to hear that adbux raised the balance to $10.00. I was looking forward to receiving my payment of $1.20. Why dont they let everyone try the program and the first payment at $1.00 and from then on $10.00. I will keep on but again i am disapointed. Their seems to be alot of complaints on this one. ah.gif

It seem like to be close, then anyone shouldn't get paid from it.
MenaC
Does anyone know if AdBux qualifies for a boycott at GPTB? I tried looking for a list of reasons to submit a complaint for a boycott but couldn't find it.
Bluedahlia
No reason why you can't file a complaint for raising the payout. I'm sure there will be a few complaints in the coming days. Like I said in the other thread, this one's got a one way ticket to Palookaville, and people should be warned.

Thanks Blue. I think I will file a complaint since they raised their payout retroactively. Hopefully more people will file a complaint as well. I don't really care about the payout increase but I figured if AdBux gets boycotted, at the very least more sites will turn down ads for them thus limiting the promotion of it. It's one thing for someone to take their own chances with an iffy site but quite another when they keep promoting and luring unsuspecting members.

Exactly. I think the only people benefiting are the ones with big downlines. The rest of us would only be clicking for their benefit because by the time we reach the new payout, this program will be long gone, in my opinion.

It seems like this topic has turned into more of a promotion for adbux after the information left. It is nothing new for a site increasing the payout withot warning it's dishonest but tons of them have done it before. I have said I thought it was a scam before this topic even came up and still know it is but more people are joining now then before. People are gonna promote it on blogs, forums, etc. until it stops paying completely and peopele get mad.

I'm sorry I ever joined Adbux - just my personal feelings, of course, but I made my $5 payout on Sunday night. I requested payout on Monday night and when I went to log on Tuesday night, it appears my account has been deleted because all of a sudden I am unable to log on. It keeps taking me back to the 'guest' page. I emailed them and have yet to hear anything back.

My guess is everyone here is right when they say this site is going down the drain in a handbasket. They are going to milk their members for as long as they can and then when they reach payout - they are going to delete their accounts like they did mine.

It's too bad I was so ignorant about it to begin with. So much time spent to get that stupid $5 and it was all for nothing. Someone stamp "STUPID" on my forehead and send me on my way...

There isn't anyone who hasn't done something out of ignorance. There isn't anyone who hasn't done something stupid. I know my name qualifies on both of those lists many times.

It's not as if you're drawing people in just to collect enough commission for a payment or two, knowing that they likely won't be paid, and that you're referring them to a site that has already failed to deliver according to its terms. You can take solace in that, at the least.

I received my second $10 USD payout within a fortnight.
And that with just 21 refs.

For non-US customers it´s in my opinion by far the best PTR-program on the market.

Of course I was also not happy when the payout was raised to $10.

But please think about the fact that adbux has almost 40.000 members.

The admin was imho also overwhelmed by the success of adbux.

Adbux DO pay out. And isn´t it that what counts most?

He said he had to make 200ish payments, right? That can be done through PayPal in 5 minutes flat.

Also, I don't buy the "If you are caught with more then one account open (we have a very strict auditing process before payments are sent) your account(s) will be terminated, your ip address(es) will be banned and you will not receive any earnings."

What's he checking against? IP addresses? Cookie strings? Usernames in email addresses? You could write something small that would check all of those at once. Better yet, it could check all of those every time someone logs in, clicks a link or edits their profile. That way, there would be no "auditing process" necessary.

Not so much.

P.S. He revised the TOS again on May 1st to change the minimum payment, but it still says "Revision 2" just as it had before that.

cubster
And see this is how the scammers always work. Pay some people, for a while but in the end it will all stop. All ofthe ads I have seen have been the POs, so he would want to be getting a heap of signups to his other sites.

Then of course he raises payout because he cant pay. And he is selling referrals that people are not going to get so he can use the money to pay people when they hit 10 bucks...

already there are many people claiming to have been deleted and not paid.

Good luck...

That is often a warning sign about a site. When people jump in and post massive praises right off the bat. Usually by that time the cream has been skimmed off the top.
I have joined a number of sites that way and they go down fast. Latest example is all the threads popping up a few weeks ago for ptc-s comparing them to Adbux. Those are just self serving threads by the OP.

File a complaint here : www.ic3.gov

That is the site for Internet Fraud and reaches the FBI.

There is no magic number of complaints, but if they get enough complaints they HAVE to do something about it.

FURTHERMORE, all complaints are recorded. The point is to take the step to stop them, if even for your own peace. That is what these people do, they are incapable of making a living an honest way. It is more than just NetBux, they have had others that did not effect the paid to read or paid to click users.

They really could even have a criminal record, which makes things so much easier to stop them. Don't you want to be a part of that? Of course you do, it feels really good.

I think some of us have been desillusioned when many many complaints were filed against Stormpay raiding and fining payment accounts and even charginf bank accounts of account holders under the pretense that they were taking back autosurf hyip related earnings plus a big fat fine - but some of those account holders could prove they never had received any funds related to autosurf hyip programs at all.
Yet Stormpay is still fully operational and the owners are opening new programs to boot.
I'm not saying complaints should not be filed but no, it's not always worth the effort.

The picture didn't work for me.

Anyway, I, luckily, didn't get involved with either of these sites. I seriously thought about joining Netbux, or whatever, but by the time I got around to it there were a lot of complaints. I have been looking for decent sites for a long time and don't do many anymore, since I'm not a big promoter and don't usually get very many referrals. Heck, I have 21 at MyLot and I have NEVER had that many referrals before in any program, and I have been doing this for years. Sad, huh? cf.gif I do programs for a little extra money, but since I have been burned before I am very cautious about what programs I join now. I also don't count on any of the money until it actually hits my account, since I've requested payouts before and never got them. By the time I decide to join, though, it seems like everyone else already has! lol bj.gif

It is a shame that some stick with these programs because they're getting paid even if they know it's a scam and has shady practices. If I had 500 referrals I'm sure I'd have been paid, too, to keep me out there promoting. Little guys, like me, are the ones that end up getting burned and it's a shame that some think that is okay as long as they're getting theirs. az.gif
