I have another search engine to report with a problem.I couldn't say what it is but every time I

I checked a portal page and it is coded to directly do about 16 autosearches on the top levels, but below these are likely about 30 or 40 more autosearches taking place

They are all loading more portals and/or doing autosearches so this is a very heavy load on your browser.

If you don't like pages like these, that abuse your computer and IP (not to mention the sites who are being autosearched) I suggest you write to the programs who are sending them.
Primeseeking has a sister site called Infocenter. There have been many complaints in this forum about both of these portals locking up and also having trojans on them.
There are a lot of program owners who would refuse to send a link like this to their members, there are more who would respond to complaints and be horrified they'd let it through. Then there are some who don't care at all what it does to you as long as they earn from it, they may own similar portals, they may have autosearches in 0 iframes on their own sites. I hope the sites you are in fall into the first two categories and will be concerned about this.

A firefox plug in called no script stopped me having the same trouble with these and others, I highly recomend it as it has stopped my pc slowing down when these se's where loading.
