Why oh why everytime I post an advert on Tasias, I get the site going down for maintenance?

Every single time this happens to me and it makes me wonder if I'm actually getting the 500 clicks I've paid for

Another interesting thing, I've just received an email off them, notifying me I have been charged for more "auto-bid" charges?

Really? How on earth can they charge me for autobids if the site isn't even up? Plus the fact that the autobid was set for every 12 hours and I only put the advert up about an hour ago, grrrrrrrrrrrr!

I understand completely where you are coming from. I think it is really funny when they send out paid e-mails and when you go to click on them the site almost always is down for maintenance. The site is almost always down for maintenance any more and it gets to be really frustrating. I hate to promote my referral link because I am scared the site will be down when I do.

i don't think it's worth promoting your referral link for tasias at the moment. I'm still hoping that tasias will be back to what it was a year ago but i doubt that it will be

I think it was just a case of them biting off more than they could chew, I mean come on, how did they expect to pay all the 50 cent join-up fee's without charging the advertiser for the actual join-ups?

The program had superb potential, but with Lens reluctance to listen or even get someone to help them out, it never stood a chance.

Tasias is fast going from being one of (if not THE) best site around, to the laughing stock of GPT sites!

It's pitty to see how great program is dying.

Yeah it's a big shame. I don't think there was done enough to avoid cheating. Cuz the majority of people just signed up with programs to get the 50 cents.
I got almost 200 referrals in funkycashmail and most of them from tasias. I think about 10-20% of them are active.

Tasia most of the time is running.
when you facing problem to reach login page
just type tasiaspaidlinks.com and one of the servers will load.
they have it from 2 till 11or 12 from what i have seen by now.
You see fast pages loading now coz there are ain't many people on right now
and their email server is closed at night and makes things a bit faster or actually
less slower.

I paid for an ad in March,,,,still waiting and guess what,,,no reply to emails,,,,,,

I got 210 refs for one program and it is down to 140.



I am a gold member of tasias and SERIOUSLY considering unsubbing.

1) Tasia's is HARDLY EVER running

2) Typing tasiaspaidlinks.com HARDLY EVER works (regardless of what
time of day or night it is)

3) If you type in www.tasiaspaidlinks.com right now, at this very
moment, you will get a "performing maintenance" screen.

4) If you use the link in this forum, you will NOT get the "maintenance"
screen.

5) Never matters how many people are on the site....it is ALWAYS
slow.

Bottom line........the link that liadin gave WORKS. It bypasses the "maintenance" screen.

2004?!!? Wow, that's bad...I requested Halloween of last year and my date just got shoved back to August of this year. Why did yours get moved so much more I wonder?

I am a platinum member of Tasias. I actually paid $149 for a platinum membership which was a huge risk I know but since then I have been paid $129 plus used almost $300 in advertising so it came out well. I have barely seen referral earnings in 6 weeks and it cant be that they are not getting emails. I have to believe that they are not being posted. I have a little over 200 people in my downline, but now with 68 cents sitting there for a week its time to say goodbye. The site is never up and I saw that pretty that soon the site would not be able to keep going at its present rate with all the 50 cent sign up bonuses. That site is running in the deep red and I know the owner can't believe that we actually believe he is in the hospital for that long. He ran out of money and is posing as someone else and if you think you are gonna get paid anytime soon you gotta another thing coming. Did you notice how last month all those who were about to get paid had to wait an extra 2 or 3 months? I got my use out of it. I am a platinum memeber and as soon as I can access the site (if ever) I am quitting that garbage. I will wager that "Tasia's Fake Links" will be gone by Christmas. I also may be thinking that Len aint paying just for this reason. Have fun splitting my 68 cents between all the other platinum members.

all I can say is WOW...I joined (and quickly unsubbed) somewhere back in mid November....signed up before I went to bed....there were over 400 emails from them the next morning....was new to ptr then but also knew there was no way to keep up with THAT pace since I also work full time....looks like I made the right decision....sorry to all y'all that are members!

Another nail has been driven into the coffin of TPL. I logged on and noticed that the request/inquire about payment button is gone. I can no longer see how many months (years?) it will be until I can expect my payment. Last time I checked, it was due to be paid on June 12, 2003. I'll wait and see, but I don't expect anything. On a seemingly positive note, I had 9 paid sign-ups pending from as far back as August 2002. I had given up on them. I just saw that all of them were credited. But, I doubt I'll ever see that money.

Some bugs have been fixed and indeed the payment button has also disappeared.
Also the unique visitors counter isn't going up anymore. (they probably disabled it)
Also the site isn't going down for maintenance 10 hours a day anymore, it's down for maintenance 20 hours a day now.
Also the fact amy isn't responding to the emails anymore and the fact Len rarely respond to emails ..
This all tells me Len must be back.

I have several problems with this:

1) When you speak of a "high number" of rejected submissions, you are in fact speaking of 2 rejections (a month apart), as opposed to 45 accepted submissions.

2) Of those 2 rejected submissions, no satisfactory reason for the rejections has been given to me. I received your form letters saying that, in each case, somebody determined that I did one of a number of things wrong. In neither case was I told specifically what I was accused of doing wrong and, in both cases, I submitted perfectly legitimate submission screens. Have you looked at them?

3) I've spent a great deal of time visiting your advertisers sites and trying various paid-to programs, knowing that you would siphon off my first $25.00 to pay for a 'Silver Membership'. Having in fact purchased that Silver Memebership with my earnings, I am now told that I have to wait over 6 MONTHS until January of next year before I can expect to see the additional earnings that I'm entitled - by the Terms of Service - to withdraw.

4) I emailed you folks over a week ago to ask about this long wait, and am still awaiting your reply. Yet you found the time to suspend my account after the second rejection?

Almost got enough to make silver too.

This is the second time I have been caught in the wringer by Tasias, the first was when they changed payout from no minimum to a "low" minimum that would have taken about 5 or 6 months with the amount of clickable links they had...I gave it up as a bad job then...

I just re-joined last month when I decided I could enroll in some GTPR programs again...guess I did not do my homework properly, I probably should have refrained after reading the extremely complicated TOS, honest and aboveboard programs should not need anything that complicated.

I guess I just fell for the temptation that I could make $20 or so monthly by myself, and If I could get even 50 ACTIVE referrals that would also make $20 by direct action, the amount would mount up very rapidly indeed...

Thank god I had not referred anyone as yet, I was waiting till I had made Silver plus $10 or so before asking for payment and seeing how that went...

I think I'll keep on till I achieve that and see what happens afterwards...

NOT a member so I can't judge the site personally....but an observation "from the outside" so please don't jump on me okay? I've been reading all the threads about Tasia...site is always down, links not paying etc, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why anyone is trying to ride a dead horse! Yeah I know, some of you invested alot (?) of money for refs and ads and such when it first started...which makes perfect since THEN...but what I can't understand is why are you doing it NOW? seems like the some of the same ones that are paying for ads are the same ones who have complained in here about the site being down and/or the links not working (ads not getting clicked)??? I DO understand you're trying to get your money out of the site--even if it's only through ads (GOOD idea IF it works btw ) but if that isn't working, why don't you just cut your losses and just move on? Am I missing something? Some of you have posted that you aren't expecting payment til 2004?? and how much money are you gonna make them to keep your account active (money you'll probally never see ) in the meantime?

I have been having problems with autobids that I never requested. It seems that each link is automatically re-set for autobid whenever you make a change to your listing. Now that I know that, I'll be watching it to make sure that they don't rip me off like that ever again!

I have complained about that to Tasias' too. It turns on 'autobid' automatically every time I upgrade a listing, and I then have to go back in and edit back to 'autobid disabled'

I have emailed but Of course I never received an answer.

The site is now back to speed, but it would seem that there are much less members there, due to all the -understandably- bad publicity, meaning: Much less referral earnings (I have a very big downline at Tasia's, but from my stats it would seem that I did not have any referral earnings since April ??? Again, I'm not emailing any more, as they never reply), plus I also get a lot less referrals for programs I advertise at Tasias.

So it would seem that they have lost quite a number of members.

BTW - did you know they have a support folder here, maybe I'll go there tomorrow and post my questions.

Tasia's used to be a very very very good program to get referrals. I must also admit that once I upgraded to Platinum member at their site, I got blind referrals without end, so my earnings really started building up.

I was paid by them only once or twice. I had an issue with the webmaster already with the first payment, as they advertised on the site 'daily payments', so I after requested payment and one day went by, I asked him what about it. The answer was somewhat evasive, but I did get paid after, I believe, a week or so. Next payout already took a few months, and now I don't even ask any more.

But back to your question ... I think the reason people still stay with Tasia's through the bad times, is that 1) you used to get a lot of referrals for your programs there 2) you can earn a nice sum of money, but the way it looks now is that you have to take into account that you can only use it for advertising and not for cash out.

Despite the fact that I also did not like the fact that they do not pay out any more, I must admit that I did earn a lot of advertising there. I upgraded to Platinum (using part of my earnings there) a long time ago, and since then have not paid into the program, but make more than enough earnings there to regularly advertise on their site.

So .... I still consider it a good program, but I guess it depends on what you are looking for.
If you only want to earn for cash out, then its a no no

why do pple stay with Tasia's?

Well,dont know about anyone else but I stay with them because my Tasia's money can be redeemed for advertising on other sites--tried that on 3 different sites and had amazing results...so that Tasia cash is worth something.

I guess I'll be staying with them for the same reason...one can make a lot of money by reading their emails and visiting, money that can then be used for ads...

I have made about $20 this first month with them & should have enough for an upgrade to silver in a few days more...

I'll probably accumulate about half my earnings for future upgrades and use half for ads...

jordi..do you plan to advertise on Tasia's or some other sites that accept Tasia funds?
