From what I can understand Marie is not in need of saving. Yes she can no longer use paypal and that is unfortunate but there are other payment processors to use.

Im not a member of any of her sites but still feel bad for her and members.As crankypants said,there are other payment processors.Did she lose it because of multiple downline levels?

I was under the impression that "charity" or "begging" type stuff had to be run past the admins before it could be posted...

Edited to say that the first part doesn't make any sense, because if PayPal did actually close this person's account, they're not just going to keep whatever money was in there.

As far as I can see from that link,he is not begging for money or support,other than asking people to contact paypal on her behalf.

No she didn't have multiple levels. I'm not sure if it was ever said why they closed her account but from admins that I have read it seems that she has accepted that she won't be getting it back and she has started using other payment processors. Egold, Alertpay and a European one and I think moneybookers (which I think is a horrible idea since they will freeze her account because didn't they ban ptr business?) Anyways I'm sure it will take a week or so to get the accounts funded as I doubt any of them are as easy as convienent as paypal, but she will get it sorted out I would hope.

Right - in fact it isn't my issue at all (apart from the fact that I'm member of one of her sites.)

And of course she will manage it somehow.

But as it is stated in the link - there are so many bad scam sites around there - and it really makes me angry when a hard time is given to somebody honest like Marije - while there are probably others who'd deserve it ....
(...probably this is more a spiritual issue to me....)

I think it was a really nice thought and its good to see anyone wanting to support PO's whom they feel are honest.

I dont belong to her sites but understand she has only one ref level now although had more at one time and had brought it down before the PP problems.

I think she also said she is not really short of funds..but is concerned about paying members who really do not want to join other payment processors.

If I were a PO I would be as much concerned for ad purchases which are mostly made through PP. Losing their PP account has been the beginning of the end for a few ptr sites.

I hope she makes it and am sure she appreciates your support.

Yes I've gotten to know, she is honest and as straightforward (informative/detailed) on the up and up as was Carsten . Marije did not have to... however made a e-Gold payment to me without any hesitation received a few hours after I requested Cashout, I, prodded through the uh... beginning to fear per reading admin mail content... that perhaps not getting paid (as has happened with many other programs in past experience(s)) accumulated in my balance at ProfitShareMails of over $7...

Phooey on/to Paypal. No matter what personal preference is to most others involved with the PTR game I'd much rather get paid into a E-Gold account any time.

I'm impressed with Marije's set of ethics, higher than expected standards (as found in PTR ) including strong composure under stress and thus am now tempted... considering to join with her other programs... unless time constraints do not allow.
