I am looking for one. Is there only the smartscript cgi version everyopne is using. I prefer php.

There are quite a few PHP ones but so far I haven't seen any I'd recommend under $600.

Some of them have good features but the coding is usually a mess... and if it's not that, they inefficient, which is the last thing you want for a PPCSE.

For $60, SmartSearch is a pretty good call. It may be perl, but it's well written perl.

which realppc , go4esearch , findblitz etc use.

dont know about them but heard they are good scripts as well

they have many versions of there script the cheapest is 150$ but aint worth it

the best one is 250$ , but it comes with no feed they chage 20$ for adding any feed which is in there given list and if the feeds isnt in there given list they charge 50$ for it . they have alot of feeds in their given list.

but still i never used them , i have seen site using it and talked with the programmer of the script as well.
