As the title says, how much does it cost to run a GPTR? I mean if it has the best scripts around (CashCrusader at the moment, I suppose ao.gif ), great layout etc...? And what it costs after the setup fees and script purchases? How much is the hosting yearly or monthly? What are cheap advertising prices, but still profitable? How easy is to run a GPTR (I mean do I have to be able to write HTML or PHP etc.)? Please tell me the most complete answer you can write.

I'm really interested to start a GPTR, but I really need to know many things before I even think about it more seriously. av.gif aj.gif

depends, on the sites popularity, how you run it, ad prices, scripts, where you host etc aa.gif

But I say around the $100-$150 for scripts, domain and design etc

Then if you host with Lachlan you can get enough hosting for only like $4 a month. aa.gif

For a good gptr you need about 750$

That inludes a good design and a script mod.

And Hops, is Lachlan's hosting enough for a popular site? ao.gif

It's basically $1 per gb, that should drop to 70cents or so when he gets a few more members aa.gif

Yes, 3-5gb should be plenty of bandwidth for around 1000-1300 members aa.gif

Oh, as for DutchTraffics $750 estimate, I have done mine for the $150 markm and the scripts are very cheat proof and sophisticated. If you are inetesrsted in knowine more, talk to me on MSN or PM me. aq.gif
Rocket-Mailer
It really varies on the amount it costs to run a PTR.

I say between 200-500 should be good
Rocket-Mailer
And also i forgot to add that hosting should be between 15-50 monthly...

How easy is to run a GPTR (I mean do I have to be able to write HTML or PHP etc.)?

This is an important question av.gif
And thanks for the previous answers! aa.gif

PS. I'm planning to buy CashCrusader scripts, so how easy it's to use them? ao.gif

there are 3 options here.

1. you buy a prebuilt/owned ptr site

2. you buy the scripts n stuff and do it that way.

3. you write the whole thing yourself

all have their up and downsides
