1) Site's Name
2) Script's name and cost
3) Domain and hosting expenses
4) How did you make your program popular?
5) Where do advertisers advertise most on your site?
6) If you do not support PayPal do you lose advertisers or maybe members?
1) Site's Name - PocketJingle
I wanted PocketMoney but it was taken and somehow ended up with PocketJingle.
2) Script's name and cost - Ugh, CAC was something disgusting like $200. That charge is still somewhere on my credit card bill, I am sure. I upgraded to CC for a nice low price because I was in the early batch.
Rhea designed PJ ( who knows how many times) for something like $75. I paid her regularly for technical help. Of course, she paid me for editing!
Also, had to get CuteFTP and a couple other programs to be able to work on PJ. Not that I can do that without messing something up, but heck, I have the tools!
3) Domain and hosting expenses - I am not even going to go into that. I moved hosts like 3 times, first from the original Frank had it at, to Host4Profit - HAHA HAHA!! Jerks! - then Myecom which was good until John got too busy, now Lucidity. YAY!
It seems that PTR sites end up costing from $20-$30/ month for hosting.
4) How did you make your program popular? Erm, I am pretty sure PJ isn't popular. PJ's members are LOYAL, but there aren't more than 2000 right now. I think those that DO enjoy PJ like it because of my humor. I think those that DO NOT like PJ don't GET my humor. Plus the slow payout thing makes it hard...

I think that I am fairly good at listening to members. I have become good friends with many longtime members. I try to make PJ fun and unique. I started PJ because except for Tombmailer, most PTR sites were deady dull. Most still are, but at least now Program Owners allow their personality to show!!
For me, PJ was at first a lifeline - I was ill and unemployed and it kept me going through a terribly difficult time in my life. Now it's a terrific and enjoyable hobby. My main goal is to pay every single member!! It keeps me going.
I hate search links, but with the dearth of advertisers, ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
I tried to close PJ when Rhea was going to close Tombmailer, but the response I got PLUS the fact that I truly love PJ and the great members I have, convinced me to stick it out. Even if Tomb closes someday, I will be around. I may have to wait til I collect social security to pay my members, but I will be here.
5) Where do advertisers advertise most on your site?Advertise?? What's that?? LMAO! Actually, mostly emails and banner rotations right now.
6) If you do not support PayPal do you lose advertisers or maybe members?I am sure I would, PayPal is still the most widely used and easily used payment system.
Personally, I think that if you want to succeed in this business you have to have quite a bit of money stashed in the first place and diversify quickly. Plan your payout and referral tiers carefully - that's what got me in trouble, plus the fact that the industry has basically slumped.
