You can use free services to trace the sender isp and complain about abuse.
Install antitrojan in your computer, sometimes you see blank emails but they
contain worms or trojans and exposed you later for strangers might taking
advantage of info on your hard drive without you are aware at all you are in risk.
Even good antivirus programs don't detect these trojans in real time so better
be careful.
If interested in link for good rooting tracker PM me and i will forward it to you.

No it cant... but install an Anti Virus like Nortons...

By the looks though, the person is/was a member within your site and is getting email from you. I would be sending an email out informing EVERYONE that if they dont want to be part of your site to remove themselves. And anyone caught spamming will find themselves with a bill for UCE sent to their home address.

I got something very similar, accusing me of spamming too .
I have no idea who the person is, nor have i ever sent them any mails.
I also run a virus prg, so that my address book is safe, but i keep that small anyway just in case and create folders to reply to rather than put them in address book..

The e-mail to this person probably originated from someone's infected address book that had your e-mail in it.
boxfrog was famous for that....I HATE BOXFROG!!!!

I have antivirus installed and keep it updated.

Also, I don't send out mails to my members from my private email address but that's where I received this one.

The following is at the very top of all my paid emails:

you, or somebody cleverly disguised as you, double-opted
in to receive it.

Okay, then someone must have a trojan on their system, or are using your email address.

If your private email address is the same as your GPF email address then that is how they have gotten it, which is also the same as the one on your domain registration.

You wanna bet?

There are new trojans being created daily and if your fire-wall isn't fully updated it may pass through.

Also, some firewalls can miss certain trojans, whilst other firewalls stop the very same ones.

Yes I can easily bet money on it. Since I have not once had problems with trojans getting past my firewall. But Trojans also go on AV software, so if it gets past that then it's where the trouble starts.

Luckily I've not had too much trouble myself, I use The Cleaner and Nortons 2003 and nothing has really got through (Hmm, I'm tempting fate there, lol)

But I know a few peeps that have used both Nortons and The Cleaner (as well as several other Trojan Cleaners) and they've had trojans get through.

The trouble is, if these hackers (that build these trojans) really want to, they can get past virtually anything they want am.gif
