- The Sale of Scripts is restricted to The Script Exchange Folder ONLY.
- Scripts are no longer allowed in Signatures.
- All transactions made outside of The Script Exchange Folder (including via PM) will receive a Warning.
1. You must be a member of the forum for at least 2 months (ie 60 days)
2. You must have made at least 200 Quality posts outside the Script Exchange Folder. Anyone caught trying to artificially increase their post count will receive a courtesy note (or warning) and have their post count reset to zero.
3. Any member who sell scripts/sites in this folder while ineligible (less than 200 posts or 2 months in the forum) will first receive a courtesy note. If they continue to use the section after they have received the courtesy note, they will receive a warning and their post count will be reduced to zero. The post count will not be returned.
Starting a thread
1. You may start up to 1 thread per day.
2. You MUST have reseller rights of the Scripts you are selling.
3. Post in the Title the name / type of Script you are selling.
4. The post MUST contain the following ~
- For Scripts
- Script's author
- Link to demo
- Price
- Payment method
- For Sites
- Site URL
- Name of Script the site is using
- Price
- Payment method
6. Then post in the thread that the Script has been sent and confirm that the payment has been received.
7. When you have sent the Script to a member, please have them confirm in your thread that they have received the Script.
8. You must at no time remove your original post. Doing so will prevent any subsequent verification of complaints from being properly conducted. Anyone found doing so will receive a warning.
Replying in a thread
1. Post in that thread that you are interested.
2. After the original person replies and the transaction has been arranged, send them the payment.
3. Post that you have received the Script and sent the payment.
Additional Notes
1. Selling and asking for Illegal / Pirate Scripts is strictly prohibited. Anyone selling or asking for Illegal / Pirate Scripts will be warned and their post count reduced to zero. Members who have attempted to sell Illegal / Pirate Scripts are posted in the
Blacklisted Sellers of Scripts List and they are not allowed to use this folder.
2. Posting a reply to bump up the topic is not allowed.
3. No recommendation or posts stating dissatisfaction of previous purchases is allowed.
4. We do not allow members to disrupt offers by posting comments that are irrelevant to the sale of the script
5. No hijacking of threads is allowed (posting offers/ requests in threads created
by another person)
6. Members are not allowed to undertake Script Exchanges on behalf of non-members, ineligible members or banned members. Any infringements of this nature will be dealt with through the Warning System.
7. The Sale of Scripts is restricted to The Script Exchange Folder. Scripts are no longer allowed in Signatures. All transactions made outside of The Script Exchange Folder (including via PM) will receive a Warning.
8. Members MUST not hide their IP address behind a firewall or proxy, if you can't reveal your real IP address, then you are not entitled to participate in this folder.
9. Threads that have had no replies in four weeks will be closed and moved to the For Sale Archive Folder.
Script Exchange Complaints / Reporting A User
1. If the transaction does not go as it should have, please report it in the Script Exchange Complaint folder. Be sure to include a link to the topic in which the transaction took place. We will do our best to create a public complaint log regarding any user.
2. Due to the rising number of complaints - members with complaints outstanding are no longer permitted to partake in Exchange Square until the complaint is resolved. If a member who has a complaint outstanding posts in a thread (Anywhere in Exchange Square) - the thread will be edited and the member contacted. If the member continues to post, a warning will be issued and their post count reduced to zero.
2.2 Complaints in Exchange Square must be resolved within a reasonable time. 1 Week will be given to all parties involved in the transaction from the time the complaint was posted. If complaints are not handled within this time frame a warning will be issued for violation of Exchange Square rules:
1st Warning - Post Count Dropped to 100 (suspension from Exchange Square till post count is back to 200)
Second Warning - Post Count Dropped to 0 and banned from the Exchange Square.
Members with a second warning will not be allowed back in the Exchange Square under any circumstances.
Precautions You Can Take
Please read the Blacklisted Sellers of Scripts List and Script Exchange Complaints forum from time to time to get an update on the cheaters.
WARNING: During the transfer of any money please take screen shots as you send the money to the other person, and when you receive it. This verification will be required if there is a problem during your transaction.
