Hey,
Can anyone tell me what an XML feed is? How it is used? and if they are good? Thanks!

XML feeds and their variations are used for many purposes.

The one you are talking about I guess is the Pay per click search engine XML feed - you can include the results of the search engine in your own page by just defining the layout of the results - you don't need to care about getting data from the database or checking which advertisers have paid you.

All you need is a little knowledge about designing XML files.

Forgot to mention, that they can be really useful in some cases. If you need more information, you can check out the latest article in my blog about a variation of XML feed - an RSS feed ac.gif Hope this wasn't too hard for you ac.gif

I'm not a pro at ppc search engines, however as far as I know, you can login to your affiliate area, and then create an XML feed of your keywords. I mean you specify the keywords, and the number of results you wish to receive.
Afterwards you just put the the feed on your homepage and do some XML formatting stuff.

I hope I'm right, however I've never done this stuff by myself. ac.gif

I guess the best way to find out this thing is just ask the program webmaster, as he has to know and explain, what exactly is he offering ad.gif
