well i got an email from them and it looks like he has no intention of paying anybody this year i was informed i had a 183 people ahead of me and thats for a half payment of $5 i was owed $30 since Dec 2004 so stay away from this ptr he is not an honest person its turned into a scam site

I think someone needs to get their facts straight.

First of all, you requested $10 in december, NOT $30, the other $20 you are talking about you requested in Februari and July.

As for me not having the intention to pay anyone, once again, get your facts straight.

I am paying members on a regular basis working on reducing the site debt that was in the site when I took over, so your statement is FALSE.

Then last, why in the world are you complaining, you are NOT getting one single penny of your earnings, and that is NOT my fault but your own, after all YOU are the one that cancelled your account NOT me.

The fact that you can not handle a wait time on payouts is your choice, but don;t start attacking me without FACTS.

Have a great day
Peter

This sounds such a long time, but to say we have no intention of paying anyone this year is a falsehood, especially if you ask the 150+ people already paid this year.

That you chose to not wait maybe 6 or 8 weeks to see your payment happen is unfortunate for you.

However, to say you have been waiting since Dec 2004 for $30 is another falsehood. You only requested $10 at that time, the rest was requested at a later date and time from earnings you had after your first request.

As to your suggestion it is a scam site. Get your facts right, we are paying people as funds come in, and are not "Scamming" people by letting them earn then deleting them or taking those earnings away from them. If that was our plan would we have not done it sooner rather than pay so many people since the site was taken over?

Also, it has been your decision to leave the site, so how have we "Scammed" you? Surely you have done that to yourself by leaving so close to being paid!
papagreywolf
oh so now you know when i would get paid my lousy $5 when you owed me $10 from Dec 2004 get the facts right yourself the way you are talking its like its Dec 2005 but i've been owed sine Dec 2004 so who scammer who Peter you now have lied to me in an open forum i hope you sleep real good cause the money the site owed me for so long was college funds for my 3 daughters but all you care about is yourself first ,no other ptr has taken 16 months to pay someone there is no justification in it whatsoever if the site was hurting for money so bad why didnt you shut it down instead of misleading people and lieing like you have today i hope you rot in hell and i already quit the site so now you can pay some one a lousy half payment scumbag
peter50
Lied?

In your original question, the way it was worded, by asking for specific answers within a deadline period meant that any answer you were going to get would be one in the same tone as your question.

As with here you resorted to names and the such that in reality belong in a school playground.

The reason the site is "Hurting for money" was the previous owners fault, but Peter took on the site knowing that to keep it alive would take both time and money, something that most members understood. Especially as there were many admin e-mails and messages to keep the members up to date, and also the publication of the payout list, so members were able to keep track of how things were going, and an idea of possible payment periods.

There are other sites that are just as behind on payments, but there are also many more who have closed without any chance of their members getting anything at all.

Had you not chosen to leave then you would have eventually got paid everything you had earned. Which is not what any scam site would do. And had the site closed then the 5000+ payments that have been made in the last 14 months would not have been made. 5000+ payments that by the way should have been paid by the previous owner, same as the 800 payments still outstanding from before the site was taken over.

I will sleep perfectly well tonight, same as any other night, as I know that the site is not only paying people now, but will be for a long long time to come, too much has been put into the site in the last 14 months to walk away from it now.

You say there is no justification for payments being so far behind. that is something you should ask of the previous owner. Had they done everything they should have with the funds they had then things would not have been so far behind when the site was taken over.

If you feel you can write something in a polite manor I look forward to it, but failing that whatever, it was your choice at the end of the day to leave, not ours.

you havent justified anything by making the members wait in line any real business would have gotten a loan and paid everybody off and started fresh not make them wait while you fill your pockets with cash i've been scammed by a few of these ptrs before and your site is just like the rest of them do one thing then change your mind and the members get screwed over the payout list you talked about sure disapeared the funky forum you has very little info so if any body can see your just hiding and collecting cash in the bank its so funny its takes someone P.O.'d like me to get you to come clean, this is the first time you have responded with some real info so i'm done dont reply i'm gone if you were such an honest webmaster you would just pay me to shut up!!!!! so whatever i'm gone
peter50
An honest webmaster does not need to pay someone to shut up when all they say is false.

You mention that you have not heard anything from us before, maybe that is because other than one other occasion in March this year, you had not asked any questions.

As to putting money in our own pockets, I so wish that were true, it would make my life a lot easier. You also mention taking out a loan. Had you seen the sums involved with getting things this far you would know that such a thing would have needed a mortgage and not a loan. And such things are not done by banks for such things as online sites. And if a loan had been possible, who would have paid the interest on that loan? i am sure the members would really want to click on links just to pay off a loan while not earning anything at all, as that is what it would have meant doing.

The debt the site was in meant that to get things back to running well would always take a long time, and last June it was mentioned in the forum that there was a 2 year plan in place that would put everything up to date and running like a fresh site. Sure that is a long time, but far better than nobody getting anything at all.

Also, since the takeover, the only thing that has changed significantly is that people are getting paid, something that had not happened at all for the previous 2 1/2 months.

If we were putting money into our pockets as you accuse us of doing, it would have been far easier to do as many have done, start up a brand new site, and wait till everyone had earned loads of money, not take over a site that owes all it's members and has a massive site debt.

As to the forum, had you spent any time in there you would see that these subjects have been covered many times with the members, as they also have within the admin e-mails that were sent to evcery member. And the list is still up, hence I was able to give you your position in that list, which you could have found out yourself had you looked.

Also, you will find that in most busines deals where a company is taken over by someone else that there is often a period where the old debt is either just discarded, or time taken to clear it up. I am sure those members who choose to stay with the site are not overjoyed with the wait, but they are glad to get paid when they do. Which is something you will miss out on through your own desision. which if we were a scam site would not have been yours, as we would have surely deleted you before now.

I do think that part of your anger is directed at yourself for not waiting a little longer to be paid something.
papagreywolf
as far as the list is concerned everytime i click on it it dont work it hasnt worked for me for a long time so leave me alone now scumbag i dont care anymore i;m done with you dont reply any more
peter50
Maybe you should have sent in a ticket mentioning that for you the links were not working. We are not mind readers, and it apparently works for all the other members who click on it so we would have had no reason to think it was not working for you.

I can keep on replying as often as I wish to, and calling me names will not make one tiny bit of difference to that.

Hi eagleaudio27,

this thread is not about wether new members would want to join or not, it has no advertising purpose whatsoever.

The reason this thread is here is that a member is mad at us, while the reasons for it are invalid.

Sure I know that members waiting for payouts are not the happiest members around, but that was a choice I made when I took over the site.

I KNEW it was not going to be easy to get things right again, but after working for about 16 months, constantly trying to keep members as updated as possible on the situation, giving them information so they themselves can track the improvement there is in the backlog, it is NOT something I like to be yelled names at, especially not by someone that on their own choice left the site, while simply asking questions and finding out how the situation is and what is being done to improve it like so many other members have done, would have made them understand that things do not get on track overnight.

We have support and answers are given within 38 hours (based on the average reply time from us over the past 1756 support queries) so contactong us with questions is step one, posting on our site forum is step two, posting here like this is no step at all in any decent process trying to figure out what is right and wrong

I haven't been paid either except for $5 awhile back which I assume was a partial payment from the amount I requested in December 2004. I just checked my payout requests ($15 requested 12/1/04; $13 requested 1/13/05; $12 requested 2/28/05) since I send myself an email when I request a payment and file these until I receive payment. I can't log in any longer so I assume I've been deleted from the program. I haven't been clicking the links but that is because it has been so long since I requested payout and been paid that I felt it was just pointless to continue. I did try to click enough to stay active but I guess I must have let it go too long between clicks. I have already pretty much accepted the fact that I wasn't seeing this money anyway. I just wouldn't recommend joining this program unless you don't mind waiting a long time for your money. I know you have a business to run but I guess I just can't understand where the money went and how the debt got so out of hand to begin with. Those admin. emails with those explanations just seem so hard to believe. Just consider what is owed me as a donation to decrease the debt or maybe that is what you want to see happen anyway since that is less money you have to pay out. sad.gif
