Looks like I'm on a roll here lately, huh? aa.gif

I just have to say this and I'm not going to mention names, but they know who they are.

I send out quite a few ads for my sites. I do this to build my member base and to help my gold members. I don't send them with referral links, just links to the sites. It just kinda burns my buns to see my ads and see the webmasters link in place of mine. I didn't pay for the ads to build THEIR downlines. Now is that nice? I feel like that's ripping me off and my upgraded members off and I won't advertise on those sites again. ae.gif

I can see how that would make you angry. Those webmasters should either refund your money or give you another ad because the ad that you paid for was really never sent.
badkitty
I would definately contact the WM if I were you ac.gif
EMailCashFrenzy
I think so too, but since we have so many other issues we have to deal with, I'll just blow it off and not raise a fuss. No sense creating anymore problems than we already have over something like this. I just know where not to advertise anymore.
ruhappytoseeme
Do you mean they actually take your link OUT of your ad and put theirs in? That is criminal!!! I hope I am not in those programs! am.gif I especially hope I dont advertise with them!!!!!
nibor
Wow! Definitely do not advertise with those guys again. It sounds like stealing to me.
cherylwaldrop
please do everyone a favor and let us know too. i don't want to waste my money either!!
surfjunky
Tell all !!!

Which WM's have done this ???
EMailCashFrenzy
awwww c'mon guys. I'm sure one or two are really sweating it right now if they've read this. I really don't feel right about saying, all it would do is more harm than good. Maybe this post will make them realize what exactly they've done and how people feel about it. The lesson is all I really care about.
surfjunky
Ummmmmm .... is the point here not more that we should be aware who is "fiddling" ???

There may be other honest WM's out there who do NOT know what is transpiring !!

I understand you not wanting to mention names....

But lets look at the other side of the coint....

The get paid industry is booming, more programs opening up daily.

The honest webmasters need to stick together and ban any advertising against the known cheaters. I'm talking about the ones that are ruining the get paid industry's reputation as a whole.

I know that there are other webmasters out there that actually have morals and a conscience. Those that would not even think of cheating or even taking advantage of their members or other webmasters.

All I'm saying is something needs to change somewhere. We can't let the bad guys win.

Ok, I'm stepping down from this soap box, but to know a webmaster is that low and sleezy just really ticks me off!

That is absolutely shocking!

Lots of us just trade our straight link ads with each other for our gold members.
Why don't you try that with some of the wm's you know who are honest?
summersun
i would definatly (hate that word, always seem to spell it wrong) post the name of the webmaster OR the sitename here, IF you contacted them and they refuse to correct it.

If someone can be mean against you, by sending their own link, while you paid for YOUR link, then why would you not be allowed to post what has been done against you?

I think that indeed, we need to place a filter on dis-honest webmasters, cause they will ruin it for everyone sooner or later.

Cheaters that get deleted are posting their complaints about us webmasters all the time, why would we not defend ourselves?

Once again IF you have contacted the webmaster that did this, and he/she will not correct what has been done, then i think it is fair for you to post the name here.

just my penny for reading :-)

Oh crap, wonder why yopur ticked, but I love your attitude about it. ae.gif ad.gif

That's crap.
debra2
Hey they're always complaining abt us cheating... and soo rude at times abt it... not all of you but still.

This is a form of cheating and you should build a wall of shame! aa.gif
summersun
i ain't complaining about anyone, only those that ARE cheaters ae.gif

Jeannie, I agree with everyone else. It's time we stopped taking this horsepuckey with dishonest, cheating people...either members OR webmasters! I honestly think it should be noted. You don't have to cry scam...but CHEAT it is. You gave over in good faith, and THEY breached the contract. Pure and simple. A non-disclosure cannot be in effect when the party has defaulted.

We have so many dishonest people taking advantage of us all here lately, we have to arm ourselves in any way we can.

Consider if a member sent an ad to that same webbie, and also let the webbie know that he/she would soon be on vacation and wants to make sure the ad got in before they left. So the webbie takes advantage and changes the ref id. And it can and has been done. See?

Just MHO.

Geez... I've been so involved with so many things I forgot to come back here and post. Sorry!

The webmaster that did this contacted me and apologize profusely. They also made right on their mistake. Altho they did this, I feel like it's a decent program and it was just a really bad judgement call on their part. I've made 'em, you've made 'em... we all have. I still do. I'm forgiving when a person admits to me they just plain screwed up, and they did.

So it's all good and I won't ruin them or try to before they get started good.

Thanks for the advice everyone and I love seeing that we're all banning together to rid the industry of garbage!
