Well I read there terms and the way it is worded I suspect that they sort ofr you just as other sites do. Also I couldn;t find a way to sign up other than being referred or using a cell phone.

I had the trouble that my ISP blocked some paid email sites, even my filters were off for that account. Because of that I opened a gmail account. And I haven't had any troubles since then.
The only thing what can happen is that gmail puts some emails in the Spam folder. But thats easy fixed - just by selecting the email(s) and clicking the button "this is no spam" it puts them back into inbox and won't place other emails from that address into the spam folder.
If you don't like to sign up by using a cell phone you might ask someone with a gmail account to send you an invitation.
