Be on the lookout for Suspicious Emails !!!
I got an email today saying "E-gold Game Script! Your payment is complete" from PaymentRobot@jdsoft.net
With an attached install.exe file and some nice instructions on how to get this e-gold game up and running on my site. My email exchange server's virus scanner says otherwise..
FILE QUARANTINED
----------------
Microsoft IT removed game.zip->install.exe since it
was found to be infected with Trojan-Spy.Win32.Agent.jt virus.
Fellow investors please do no run this install.exe as it will give away your e-gold ID and Password.

Wanted to add here too that I saw on the news today that some phishers were sending emails from what supposedly was the IRS. In those emails they are requesting lots of personal info included SS number. Please don't respond to any emails...go directly to the sites or telephone if necessary...

This was being used for identity theft...

I've received a different kind of email three times. Two are from the same address and another one was sent from a different address all to my email address that I only use for ptr sites. Here's the email.
Hello mate,
I have transferred $17,051.58 to your e-gold account through the First USA Bank.
The scanned check is attached to the letter. Please, confirm reception of my
payment by mail or fax which I have specified in the previous letter.

I got that one in 3 different email accounts and I don't have e-gold account.
Also got one from paypal to say that my sellers fee of $1.15 was not deducted from my credit card and that my credit card had been removed from my paypal account. I have no credit card attached to my paypal account.
