looks like autosurfing in its current form is over

Randall Lee, the regional director of the Securities and Exchange Commission and a former U.S. attorney says, "One of our hopes is that as a result of this case ... it will send a message to owners of autosurf programs out there. If you cross the line and operate a fraudulent business, we will prosecute you."

Different countries have different laws.If In USA the autosurfs are banned, they will start operating from other countries.Mean to say other countries will get majority in autosurfs.

Autosurfs will keep on coming till the investors are investing in it.

So true...
America doesnt dictate what is and isnt allowed everywhere else in the world, as long as people want autosurfs and the advertising opp that comes with it, we'll get it from savvy admins that move their operations offshore

But, according to Charis, "Please also be aware that any autosurf claiming to be exempt from SEC investigations and sanctions because of registering a company offshore or tweaking their terms is fooling themselves.

The SEC has jurisdiction for any company doing business with US citizens or unidentified people that could be US citizens, regardless of what country the company is registered or incorporated in."

It will not be possible for SEC to dealt with such problems. If the other country dont allow SEC to investigate how will SEC than act against tht firm.

So it is not feasible to say tht SEC has jurisdiction for any company dealing with US citizens whether the company is in any country.

Although SEC has jurisdiction for its citizens dealing with foreign firms.
