Very good reasoning, and yes, if it is not a PTP page, it will have just as much chance as anything else in the SAS rotation of being displayed in the promote page.

I'm justa tad confused still about the personal SAS rotator on whether those pages are displayed in the promote page, Rod?

I'm not Rod but hope I will do...

The promote and specialpromo, if you put them in your rotator they will only appear on a non-SAS site, they wont appear inhouse or in the promote page when your rotator comes up, the script knows to skip over them to another site in your rotator.

We have the promote and specialpromo in the banned list so that members can't add it as a campaign except in the rotator (actually half the SAS pages are in the banned list because members do try adding them as shared or premium campaigns).

This signup page that was seen, was it a signup page or the index page?

If someone has specialpromo+promote+1 other site in the rotator and that other site got paused, but their rotator was still running, then it would start showing the index page as there is nothing else to show - if that makes sense. So the rotator would need to be paused if that is happening, and then re-enabled when their other site is back up.

Edited: I just checked the d/b of campaigns and none are there for the actual signup page where you type in your name etc, not even listed in anyones rotator as far as I can tell.

You'll do, but you didn't answer my particular question, which is do pages in the personal rotator get displayed in the promote page or just inhouse, or both?

Take my personal rotator for example, I have no PTP pages and no SAS pages in it and I have it as one of my auto-transfer campaigns, where will it be displayed?

Also, I did come across a freerotator.com link surfing one day inhouse, I had though they were not allowed, but am I mistaken? I even did a double take on it and went to look at the history right away, it was a non-premium freerotator account as I remember seeing the ads on it.

Your rotator page gets displayed in the promote AND the inhouse.

If you have your promote page and/or specialpromo in your rotator and display the "rotator" url elsewhere, all pages in that rotator will be evenly rotated at the other sites.

If the rotator gets displayed in OUR inhouse, it will automatically skip over the promote/special promo pages you may have inserted in your rotator.

As far as will the rotator skip over the INDEX page in our inhouse, thats a good question (never have had to confront that scenario before).

Sorry didn't realise that's what you meant. It would be rotated both inhouse and on the promote page.

Yes freerotator pages are allowed but the content on every page inside it has to be within the SAS rules. We prefer people not to put rotators with lots of pages in because they take a long time to check. And also you would have to make sure you didn't add anything to it that broke SAS TOS.

You can't add the CAC/Wolf type ptp's to a rotator like freerotator and then have it as a campaign on SAS, we'd turn it down and possibly also report it to the site in question.

Excellent, now I fully understand it. I've been squirling away 7% of my non-cashable credits until I had a full grasp of it, now time to pick a day when I send those 3000+ credits at that rotator smile.gif

No one has one listed currently. And that url is in the banned list, so I don't think anyone can put one into the rotator?
