Just wandering if anyone has tried it and what did they like about it.

I try to stay away from microsoft's "beta" projects, since so many of their 'developed' software bundles have errors and bugs in them.

What's new with 7? anything special? tabbed browsing finally?

Good guess blink.gif I decide went microsoft website and check it out about IE beta 7

Yep add Dynamic security protection, steamlined user interface, tabbed browsing, printing advances, instant rss feeds, toolbar search box.

I stay away IE for good.

I went ahead and downloaded just to see if anything is worthwhile in it...

one thing that turned me off right away was the installing part where it wanted me to validate my windows operating system.

I haven't tested it out totally yet, but when I do I'll give more feedback I can.

You are saying there is a difference between the beta's and the final project. Oh thank you so much for telling me I always thought they were the same. laugh.gif

I have been using it since the first beta was released, its a major improvement on i.e 6

Has tabbed browsing like firefox.

Its very easy to configure.

The best thing it has is philshing filter, its warned me that a site I was visiting was a philshing site once, so I was certainly impressed with it.

The pop up blocker works much better than the google one and a number of other ones.

So they are taking the better points of the other browsers and implementing them into their system so that they can keep user interested in IE is this right?
