some WM always relunch the program just after 1 month befor member reach the minium payout. he/she alwys said the database was lost or something!! Is it belivealbe? No, he just want to get the money from the advisor and never want to pay at all !!

Sadly, I'm sure there are some unscrupulous webmasters who have lied and said the database is lost to avoid paying members.
However, there are also many cases of honest webmasters with unfortunate database crashes.
I guess we cannot tell which is which, although I would hope most relaunches are the result of the latter.

Just a heads up... downline builder is owned by a referral thief! We just found out for sure today... just be careful!

the only problem I have with relaunches is that these WM's should be backing up their databases! If they did that they could at least revert back to the last backup which should be recent. You wouldn't lose ALL your earnings and refs that took time to get!

Actually the mods can deny him or anyone that requests it a relaunch thread on here. Since oyu need permission to do so.

sure, strongly suggest mod deny the relunch unless the wm back their db or pay to all member.

Most of the times I just don't bother to resign up again, if the webmaster can't have the sense to do a regular backup, then I think they are not really interested in their advertisers and members and are only out to make a fast buck.

I make database backups almost every day for a total of 200MB data.
If I ever lose that data I lose members+advertisers.
I have a directory for each site and also keep the old backups on disk to make sure if the backup is corrupt
I have a second one.

And what if the second one is corrupt as well only joking

The way I see it WM get one chance if they lose all their data base from corrupt files and server crashes. Their are plenty of honest ones who lost their info and the backup was corrupt. These honest WM know their reputations are on the line and will check their backups to insure they do work. Probably make two seperate sets of backups for saftey.
Because who will sign up after a second data loss? An yes your bound to have a few using that excuse to cheat members out of their earnings. But they used up their freebie and if they ever have a real data loss they can kiss their members goodbye because it will be number 2 loss.

i'm not speaking for all ptrs, kuz i don't really know nor do i really care...
i know for sure that some did not want this to happen... they had backups... they corrupted... it wasn't their fault & i'm sure that those who know me (not much here though) know who i'm talking about... as they do own other ptrs & has a very respectable reputation! they have a real good track record of payments, sending out ads on time & other services! so i doubt that they'd do this on purpose!
its very frustrating for us, i know... i'm a member too so i know how that feels... but for the WM's i'm talking about, how do you think they'd feel? not too good is all i can say!

again... i'm stating that I AM NOT speaking for others kuz some may be doing that on purpose but only on the defense of those honest ones that had actually lost the data & had to relaunch!

Well let me say it's easy to talk the talk...harder to walk the walk. Now it was bad enough my usable backup was 3 weeks old, but no relaunch here. Other troubles, but I am working through them. I am here and not going anywhere. And I am adjusting my members accounts for what they lost PLUS I am going to resend all the advertising from those lost 3 weeks and will be doing other things. Right now my site is down AGAIN. SO a change is necessary. I promise my members I am going nowhere and Amys will be better than ever
