I was just doing my grand hits surf and got a CGI error. I tried to log back in but the login (submit) button is gone from the home page. So, I used my RoboForm to auto login...
I get a message that I'm 'not authorized to view this area' and redirected back to the home page.
Is anyone else seeing this problem?

"GrandHits is currently offline for some emergency database repairs". It's flashing near the top of the homepage.

Same with me. I hope they will be able to fix the problem before midnight.

I was able to log in this morning but surfing was disabled.
The message on homepage was they have problems with cash, credits and upgrades dont show the right date so they are working on it and nothing to worry about.
I tried to log in just a minute ago but it dont work anymore so I can not post a copy of the message here.
They are working on it and expect to be back asap.

This afternoon we developed a problem with the user table in the grandhits database, and for some reason the current backup files where missing the same table, so I was forced to restore this particular table with a backup from midnight 12/18.

Fortunately the rest of the tables were unaffected and are up to date, so all of your monthly stats and recent upgrade history is still in tact. The problem is with 2 critical variables that are stored in the user table, one being your cash balance and the other your current member level.

All of this can be fixed rather easily, once our programmer checks in later tonight I will have him code what is necessary to update your member levels and then I can credit each days surfing until we are up to date again.

One thing that was lost was the information of approximately 600 new members account#'s 22512 and up they will need to login with (this is just an example, you will need to use your actual member #) 29345@grandhits.com with the password being 29345
One more time, if my member# is 29345 i would need to login with the

email: 29345@grandhits.com
password: 29345

When you are able to login (should be sometime within the next couple hours) you will need to update your account details
Once again this is only for new accounts created within the last 4 days everyone else should be able to login as normal

Within the next couple of hours I will reopen the site so that you may login and check your accounts, you will then be able to see what I am talking about if you recently upgraded, your upgrade will show in the history but your member level will not reflect these upgrades yet also your cash balance will not be current yet.
Both surfing and upgrading / compounding will be disabled until the repairs are complete

Also there were approximately 500 cashouts processed during the last few days these will show in the history but will still need to be deducted from your cash balances, this is done very similarly to the upgrades as all of the information is in the cashout history table

Finally I would like to apoligize for the downtime, we will be back up and running as soon as it is possible
Thanks for your cooperation
